The venue was the perfect choice. The taco station and pasta station were delicious crowd‑pleasers, and the complimentary dessert was such a thoughtful addition. The selection of beer and wine was great, and we were especially grateful that our non‑alcohol‑drinking guests received mocktails included in our package — a level of hospitality that did not go unnoticed.
We were given full flexibility to use the space how we needed, including the pool tables, which became the perfect setting for our Supply Team Games and Challenges. It added fun, energy, and interaction to the evening.
But what truly made the event exceptional was the team behind it. A huge thank you to the incredible staff who supported us from planning to execution:
Event Coordinator
Stephanie – Thank you for helping us plan the entire event. Your support in customizing our package to stay within budget, along with being available throughout the night, made everything seamless.

Thank you all for your hard work, professionalism, and positive energy — you truly made the night memorable. We could not have asked for a better venue or a better team to partner with.
Thank you, District Lounge, for helping us kick off 2026 in the best way possible!
The drinks are exceptional. I highly recommend the smoked old-fashioned, and a dirty martini! The apps are small enough if you eat on your own, but big enough to share if you do not want to get full, I recommend ordering a bunch of appetizers to share!
The sandwiches were incredible. One of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had, and the French dip was to die for! They have pool tables and leather couches that are extremely comfortable, you guys gotta check this place out.
That said, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Service was definitely a highlight of the experience.
The menu leans toward steakhouse fare, and while the food was solid, I’d probably still choose a dedicated steakhouse if I was craving steak. One standout, though, was the fries—fresh, crispy, and easily a highlight of the meal. Keep ensuring these are made to order- fabulous! The appetizers were good, but a small detail stood out: the portions were uneven, which made sharing a bit awkward. Since many diners come in pairs (date nights, etc.), serving even-numbered portions would make more sense.
For those who enjoy games, the restaurant features three large pool tables, which would be great for groups. Personally, I’d love to see a dart area added, as pool isn’t really my thing.
Overall, The District has potential, and with a bit more buzz and a few tweaks, it could become a go-to spot in Jersey City.
Would I return? Maybe—especially with an addition of a dart board and for made to order fries.
We are vendors at a Bridal Show this weekend and the DJ vendor next to us recommended this place. It was absolutely worth the 25 minute drive from the Meadowlands Expo Center to Harborside. Parking is conveniently right across the street. We had the Potato Croquettes, a Little Gem Caesar salad and the Autumn Squash Salad as appetizers. They’re all absolutely highly recommended. The Caesar salad dressing was very flavorful and just enough Parmesan to make it incredibly tasty. The potato croquettes were cooked perfectly and the Autumn squash salad was a fantastic compliment to the other two appetizers.
I couldn’t wait for the risotto to arrive, anticipating it to be exceptional and I was not disappointed. You absolutely have the save room for dessert, The chef brought us a s’mores dish that was a perfect end to a great meal.
Jada our server was absolutely phenomenal. Polite, respectful and entertaining but not too pushy, each time she came over to our table, the interaction was light and fun.
The atmosphere was modern and relaxed and the entire staff were very friendly. If you’re looking for a place to eat in Jersey City, The District should be at the top of your list
Services: We were there Wednesday night and it has plenty of space open. Even though there is only one waitress for ordering, she is proactive and friendly. Other waiters brought food over fairly quick.
Vibe: It fits different types of groups because the restaurant has mixed sections – sofa sections with big TVs like a sports bar, high-rise tables in the middle for the vibe, regular dining section on the side with heavy curtains around it to reduce the noise, and a nice bar section.
I had an exceptional dining experience at this beautiful, clean restaurant conveniently located right across from the light rail—perfect for gatherings with friends and family.
We started with the **Autumn Squash Salad**, a delightful combination of fresh Asian pears and crunchy pumpkin seeds, bursting with seasonal flavors.
For the table, we shared the **Potato Croquettes** and the **Crispy Pork Brick**—both perfectly crisp on the outside and rich with savory goodness inside.
Our entrées were equally impressive: the **12 oz NY Strip** was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, while the **Faroe Island Salmon** was beautifully paired with basil orzo, blistered cherry tomatoes, and a refreshing touch of lemon oil.
To end on a sweet note, we indulged in the **Chef’s Selection** for dessert—a delightful surprise that perfectly capped off our meal.
The cocktails were creative and refreshing; we enjoyed the **Little Tortilla Boy** and the **Twisted Twin**, both expertly crafted and full of unique flavors.
Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in a warm, welcoming atmosphere!
