We are an upscale approach to your normal hotdog. Bringing fresh ingredients and new ideas to burn a new experience to eating what mini would say is a regular old hotdog. Monthly specials also allow us to have non-hotdog related items on the menu. Portions are huge, toppings are flowing, and our pre-smoked, and then grilled hotdog will change your mind of what a hotdog should taste like!

The food was amazing! When we walked in the young lady acknowledged us immediately and was very kind and attentive…So refreshing as so many customers. Service workers are becoming increasingly rude and entitled. I had the backyard bbq and my partner had the angry wien,It was different but in such a good way! We went for the first time this past weekend. It was kind of a hit and miss. Fries are great! Husband seemed to like his cheeseburger. The fried mushrooms also good.
The hotdog in the chili cheese dog was room temp at best. Ordered it with no onions but it came out with onions. Service started out great, but once we got our food they never came back. Had to flag him.down for a refill.
We will definitely give them another try in the future. I seen alot of menu items that I would like to try.

This was first time at Distinguished Wein…probably our last. The atmosphere is small with cute decor. We entered through the back door, where there is parking. We weren’t greeted, so we sat down. The hostess/waitress needs to find another profession. She didn’t greet us, bring refills, say thank you for coming, or even smile at any point we were there. We couldn’t finish our meal because we were out of our drinks. After several attempts to get the attention of the waitress, we finally took our drinks up to the cash register and begged for refills. A few hours after we came home, the 2 of us who ordered hot dogs, had gastro issues. I’m not sure if it was from the nuclear green relish or not. We were hopeful to try a new place, but overall disappointed.

My wife and I stopped in today for lunch. She got a chili dog and I got the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. We also got spicy cheese curds and fried pickle spears. Everything was pretty good.

We were thoroughly impressed with the service and food and couldn’t stop raving about how well the smoked beef hotdogs were cooked. They were the best beef hotdogs we have ever eaten. Also, the crinkle cut fries were cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. They held up well to the toppings. My son enjoyed his Bacon & Cheese Dog and Fries. A double dose of cheesy, smoky, and meaty goodness (both beef and pork). My wife loved the Mexicali Dog and couldn’t stop telling me how well the toppings complemented the beefy dog. I ordered the Reuben Dog, and toppings were so on point that it tasted like a Reuben. We ordered the Onion Rings and loved how the lightly crispy they were. We also enjoyed the Angry Taco fries. The fries were crispy even with the various toppings. It had a mild heat and was chock full of flavor. We also enjoyed eating the sandwich cookies for dessert.

This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back. We tried the Fawncy Wien, the Cordon Blue Sammie, and Chili Cheese Fries. We ordered some Sandwich Cookies to try later: birthday cake and pecan pie. All were delicious, as well as freshly and quickly made. I appreciate that the fries didn’t just have toppings slopped on them with naked fries on the bottom, but there were toppings all throughout. Also, their plain fries are some of the best crinkle fries I’ve ever had – slightly thicker than the normal ones you get and the perfect amount of crispiness..
Loved the decor/vibe. The restaurant was very clean, bright, and cheery. The young man who served us provided excellent service.
Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items.

Very affordable fun place to eat good food with a home cooked touch! Immediately coming inside is a bright atmosphere with scrabble boards on the walls in many places for family night deals or what not. The people are friendly and answered all my dumb questions about house made this and house made that. First time I ordered a grilled cheese brisket sandwich combo deal with 2 sides for 18$. It was to die for. Meat was smoked plentiful and tender and in between a perfectly crisped grilled cheese, they don’t use yesterday’s flat top for your fresh crisp people! The spicy curds are absolutely fantastic!! Perfect spice and with the housemade ranch it’s just magnificent!! I went back for many different things so far and all of them were knocked out of the park. I chase a cheese curd in my sleep and haven’t pooped regularly for 3 weeks but I’m gonna keep buying them!! Here I come for them curds!!

I’ve driven past this place in the old DQ in Mooresville countless times, always intrigued but never able to stop due to their hours or my time restrictions. Finally last weekend, I convinced my daughter, a cheese fry aficionado, to give it a try. We were both blown away.
The crinkle cut fries, topped with gooey nacho cheese and crispy bacon bits, were a dream come true for my daughter. As for me, I couldn’t resist trying both a chili cheese dog and a Chicago dog. Both were incredibly flavorful and exceeded my expectations.
The hardest part about dining here is choosing what to order! Everything on the menu looked delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offered table service, making the experience even more enjoyable.
If you’re a hot dog lover or simply looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, The Distinguished Wein is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu.
