**Updated review 11/12/2025: I ordered the boat noodles again and I was sad to find they were not the same. I had ordered on the phone asking if they still had boat noodles. The lady on the phone said she would ask and I was able to hear her on the phone ask the chef “do you know how to make boat noodles?” Then she picked the phone back up and said yes they have it. Sounded risky but I went through with is anyway. Unfortunately it wasn’t the same as last time. It didn’t even have meatballs and they didn’t provide the bean sprouts. It tasted more like the beef pho. I wish they were just honest with me and let me know the chef who usually makes it wasn’t there so I could get something else. The orange chicken was delicious and crunchy though.

Affordable and delicious food that satisfies your Thai food cravings. Don’t let the term fusion fool you, there are traditional classic Thai flavors at this place. If you have never had Thai pho, you need to try it. Any beef dish comes with super soft beef too. Tip: ask about new items that might not be on the menu yet! The boat noodles are so tasty with a rich beef flavor. All items I’ve got are average $13-15

Tasty business lunch for only $10.90! I had chicken with broccoli, but there are lots of choices. Served Monday–Friday from 12–3. Friendly guy cooking and taking orders, and a very nice girl at the register. Great food at a great price, I’ll definitely be coming back here more often!

“Underrated gem with killer curry & noodles!”

Stumbled upon this underrated eatery on Moorpark St., and I can’t believe more people aren’t raving about it! The green Thai curry here is legitimately some of the best in Los Angeles—creamy, aromatic, and perfectly balanced with fresh chilies, Thai basil, and tender vegetables. Every spoonful is a flavor bomb.

The drunken noodles (pad kee mao) are another standout. Beautifully stir-fried flat rice noodles loaded with bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, carrots, and heaps of fresh basil and chili—just the right level of heat and so satisfying .

I’ve also seen praise online for the yellow curry and outstanding service. Yelp reviewers note the casual, friendly vibe and describe the service as “great food. Great service.” (). TripAdvisor users highlight that “everything was fresh and delicious” with “very polite and unobtrusive” staff .

What truly elevates this spot is Joy, the owner—her service always comes with a smile. She makes you feel like an old friend, checks in with impeccable warmth, and genuinely cares that you’re enjoying your meal. Her hospitality is hands-down the best thing about The Dish.

If you’re craving bold Thai flavors (especially that green curry and drunken noodles) served with genuine Southern California hospitality, this place is a true hidden gem.

Very low-key spot, great deal for lunch. Easily best eggroll I’ve had. Also one of the better tom kha soups I’ve had. Friendly staff that chats with regulars.

I ordered pick up from here because I was craving Pad See You and am so glad I made the decision to try out this location. The food was perfection! Full of flavor and I had enough left over for me to also eat for lunch the next day. When I walked in to pick up the order, the staff was very friendly. The inside was clean and well maintained. I will definitely be back!

Ordered the pad Thai which comes with tofu, or you can switch out for different meat. I’m not the biggest fan of tofu but theirs was delicious! Best Thai food in the area. Got a yellow curry to-go for a friend and they really enjoyed it.

Finally a Thai place that cooks your chicken fresh. If you ever eat at a Thai place and the chicken is hard and flat, it’s because it’s not fresh. Absolutely the most delicious Thai place I ever ate at!!

Excellent food and service. Fair prices. Quite and convenient place for groups or families. I tried Satay green beans with fried tofu. It came with a side of rice and a spring roll. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! Kudos to the chef and friendly staff!!

IF YOU VEGAN DO NOT GO HERE.

I never leave any review, but today I stopped for lunch at this cafe and got reason to make a debut. I am a vegan, I asked if they have a vegan option. I took buddha basil vegetables with rice and vegetable soup. There were small pieces of chicken in the soup. While I was taking pictures, a cockroach ran over me in the direction of his “home” behind the seat. Sorry for the blurry photo, he was fast. I knew that in such a place it was useless to prove something, so I just said before leaving that they had chicken in the vegan soup. The waitress just smiled. After two repetitions about the problem, she said – “sorry about it”.

Besides that the restaurant is wonderful.
