Stopped here for lunch on our way home back to Chicago. Wow! What an unexpected amazing view. We sat outside and had some wine with our smoked fish plate. Then shared the walleye sandwich. Food was really good but I couldn’t get over the views. Stopped in the shop afterward and found a great golfing shirt, on sale! Really recommend

We had a great dining experience! The view around the restaurant is amazing.
The staff was very obliging and attentive.
We ordered the scottish salmon and a salad. The salmon was well done and seasoned and had a delicious smoke flavor. You should order a Brownie cheesecake. The best we ever had! The prices are fair.

Top of the line. Have money? Will spend! Around $200.00 per person, so not something we do every day, but, when you feel the need to pamper yourself, this is IT!

We were disappointed with the quality of the food. The fried fish was over breaded and dry. The sweet potato fries were thin and dried out. The salmon was nothing special and the rice pilaf was oversalted. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was fine, but I expected a better quality of food.

What saved this rating from being a 1 star was the incredible view and Michele. Let me explain:
When we got there, the hostess greeted us with a less-than-welcoming attitude, asking if she could help us instead of directly seating us. We then sat there for over 15 minutes without any sign of our server, until we had to get the host to help out. This was pretty annoying, especially since we were one of only four tables there. It felt like maybe our post-hike look, complete with a baby on my hip, didn’t quite fit the vibe they wanted.
Thankfully, Michele stepped in and really turned things around with her friendly and attentive service. She was great, and the view was absolutely stunning, which definitely helped. Even with these positives, though, the rough start left a bad taste, and I probably won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

I was lucky enough to experience Arcadia Bluffs’ restaurant last night and it was nothing short of incredible. We arrived in a big, obnoxious group who was the opposite of quiet, but the waiter said nothing of it and delivered exceptional service. I wish I’d gotten his name—-young guy with longish, dark hair. He was great. He recommended the crab stuffed salmon and I took his advice, which absolutely did not disappoint. My truffle fries could have been a little more trufflely, but they were good, too. And the view? I could never describe how beautiful it was. Beautiful building, nice atmosphere, great food, and great staff. I would definitely return!

Ate lunch here on a beautiful blue sky Fall weekday. What a gorgeous setting. That alone is worth the price of lunch, which isn’t cheap. Fortunately, in addition to the first class view, service was excellent and our meals were superb! We had the patty melt, salad with a large piece of perfect salmon & the BLT. All were huge and very tasty.

We were here for my birthday last week and everything was just amazing! We even got a lift to and from the parking lot to the main entrance. Everything we had was outstanding! We ordered some rosé, white wine, the brie appetizer, filet mignon, walleye, and a couple different desserts. So good! The cherry on top was being able to sit on their patio overlooking the lake and enjoying the sunset. Best birthday dinner date ever! We got so lucky we didn’t have to drive to Manistee from Arcadia to find a different place to dine.
