We drove out from Lincoln after seeing favorable reviews. Turns out, for us, the food was only so-so. But the service was great and this small town bar really draws a steady business. My complaint about the food was that the fries and sweet potato fries were undercooked. The pepperjack bacon burger lacked the pepperjack? Yes, we could have complained but the food had been slow to come out and we didn’t want to wait any longer. There is a sign outside the bar saying they have steak, but no steak was on the menu on a Friday night. On another subject, I found it odd that the ladies room had two toilets but no dividers?
Despite my observations and lack of desire to come back, the place was full and clearly a favorite of the locals.

The bar owners is super good! Glad that the place got a new owner. Better vibe when you walk in. Fried cod was great. Great side salads. Also recommend their hamburgers. Nice sized portions. Fried Chicken served on sundays! Bartenders know how to make drinks properly. Great place for individuals, dates, families(with and without children) and groups!

Terry & I dined here Sunday & enjoyed the best broasted chicken I have ever eaten. It was done just right & the meat can right off the bones. They served real mashed potatoes & the best white gravy with the chicken, along with steaming hot corn that remained hot the entire time. At 5pm, they were already super busy & by the time we left around 6:30pm, the place was still packed. This is the best place I know of to go to for a mighty fine dining experience. Even though they were so busy, our server was right there & kept our drinks full & was very pleasant. We will be back!

Hands down best small town bar in the lincoln area, with a very lively vibe everynight of the week all the servers and bartenders make you feel right at home. Everything we had to eat was great . And the drink prices are way better then anywhere in lincoln. If your looking for a good time with great food the Ding a Ling is where to go. This place is fresh off a 2 year make over from top to bottom and has be upgraded in every possible way.!!!

I’ll tell you what, if you want to eat and drink at a place that makes you feel totally at home, this is the place. Great good, cold drinks, super sweet and efficient waitress (cute little thing) and colorful local personalities. Almost made me want to move here just so I could hang out at this bar! Made me think of the song “I love this bar!” Also the food was great! Tenderloin, onion rings, fries and BBQ boneless wings!

After hearing so many good things I was super excited to try the Ding. I wanted a ribeye, they didn’t have any. Our waitress offered to a rare prime rib on the grill. Sounded good. It wasn’t grilld and instead of medium rare it was well done and chewy. I asked for a loaded baked potato and got just butter and sour cream. I understand it was busy and they were short staffed but I had high hopes and left extremely disappointed
