Killer views, but food and service are mid. Understaffed bar with a frazzled bartender. Food about as good as a holiday inn express breakfast hot bar, but it is a nice view of the skyline at the top.

Definitely a tourist trap worth skipping.

I liked the open air seating on the second floor; The friendly service; the atmosphere. The drinks my wife ordered “Steeple Chase” and my Stella.

I ordered the salmon with green beans, tarter sauce and rice. My wife ordered the filet with potatoes and asparagus. We also ordered the sweet and sour shrimp appetizer. The shrimp appetizer was la choy sweet and sour sauce over a frozen breaded shrimp. This was simply nasty. It was cold rubbery and tasteless. The sauce was applied like it had gold flakes in it so no help there. The salmon no doubt a frozen product again over cooked more seasoning wouldn’t have helped, but would it have hurt? The tarter sauce which has a different name on the menu did add some moisture and some flavor. Did I mention I don’t like tarter sauce? The green beans with onions was the best thing on the plate. The rice was probably uncle bens it certainly was not a fresh product and flavorless.

My wife’s filet was not very flavorful but the highly recommended sauce that the filet was cooked in (?) was awful. The skin on mashed potatoes were very good as was the asparagus.

They do add a 3.5% credit card fee so look for that. Pay cash save a few bucks.
I really felt bad for the server as I watched the three other tables that received their food but couldn’t look the server in the eye and say it was good. But they did say it was good. We did too but I think the server knew. I knew. You could tell by looking at the moved around food on the plate. I really felt bad for the server. if our server reads this I hope you get to a better restaurant soon. You will do well. But look at the finished plate, the shuffled sandwich with the meat picked over and ask or the shrimp app with 4 shrimp left on then ask…did you not like the shrimp? How was your sandwich? I would have told him. Still I think he knew. Bless you.

Coffee was absolutely amazing- check the menu above the bar before sitting because they have some fantastic options and boozy shakes! We had breakfast 2 mornings because the service was great and there wasn’t any wait. Excellent food, very fresh and not greasy!

I was disappointed in my experience here. We went for dinner, I had the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had the pot roast. My shrimp was extremely overcooked, but his dish was really good. The atmosphere was pretty quiet, no one except maybe two other parties were there on a Sunday night. Our server appeared a total of four times, once to get our drinks, the next to deliver our food, the next to check that our food came out, and the last time I had to find her so we could get our check. Her service persona was lukewarm at best. Did the trick of eating dinner somewhere, but we definitely won’t be back.

I went on a weekday morning and they weren’t busy, yet the food was very disappointing. I ordered a muffin which was tasty, but it was presented to me straight from the cooler and no one offered to warm it up so I ate it cold (not even room temperature!). Then with breakfast, the bacon had clearly been pre-cooked as had the potatoes. The potatoes were bland and were what you would typically get from a hotel breakfast. The biscuits served with breakfast were old, hard, and appeared to be store-bought. Quite frankly, they were inedible and I didn’t eat them. I would not go back here for breakfast. Gosh, I hate giving bad reviews!

I had a solid brunch experience that I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a chill spot to enjoy good food. The atmosphere was laid-back yet lively, perfect for a weekend outing with friends or family. The menu had a nice variety of options, from classic brunch staples to more unique offerings. One standout item for me was definitely the pretzels. They were soft, warm, and perfectly salted on the outside, with a fluffy inside that made them incredibly satisfying. The accompanying dip—whether cheese, mustard, or both—was flavorful and complemented the pretzels perfectly. You could tell they were freshly made, and they had that comforting, homemade feel that elevates a simple dish into something special.

Aside from the pretzels, the rest of the meal was well-executed. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the food came out at just the right pace. Drinks were solid, too—whether you’re into coffee, juice, or brunch cocktails, there’s something for everyone. Overall, it was a great spot that balanced quality, comfort, and a welcoming vibe. If you’re in the area and looking for a dependable brunch place, this one should definitely be on your list. And seriously—don’t skip the pretzels.

Ate on 4th floor for lunch yesterday. Had classic cheeseburger and fries. It was good but not great. Service and atmosphere were great.

Great location, great view and vibe. Food is classic diner food, no complaints. Biggest issue is our server Maria took the liberty to tip herself from my cash payment, over 20%. Could not find her anywhere in the empty restaurant, we were her only table. Found her sitting in the back near the bathroom hallway sitting on her phone, to inquire about the missing change. She didn’t come back once for refills and to check on us, even after I asked if she could refill our waters. I have never once complained about service, but this was an extremely poor experience. The busser/food runner guy was absolutely amazing, the other table’s server seemed great too, but our server was a scammer. Pay attention to how much change you’re given. Fun spot to go to, but if your server is Maria please request a change. (Floor 5 went at 12:45pm 3/5)

Meh place, I liked the view but the actual place was a little bit of a joke. What diner only sells shakes on one floor when there have a bunch of solos and duos on the top floor where they aren’t selling shakes to. Also what diner doesn’t have milk like if this was my home town I’d get up and leave when they say that. Food was fine and the people working were friendly but the lack of milk or ability to get milkshakes was ridiculous. They also didn’t allow me to choose how I want my eggs prepared which was weird. The only other turn off was the administrative fee totaling 2$ for both the downtown and a separate fee which is a total joke considering I’m paying in cash and haven’t seen this in any other restaurant down town. I’d say superior options, but I enjoyed the view which is why I gave it 3 stars, and there was no issue in the food that I ended up ordering. A little pricy for Midwest.

Perfect spot for a brunch to start the day before heading into Nashville’s downtown music scene. The shrimp grits were exceptional!
