This place was just an easy place to stop. I was the one that came in 45 min before close, and everyone was still extremely nice to me. Great prices, the food was excellent, and it was the kind of place where the waitress calls you sweetie. Don’t forget your piece of pie before you leave.

This was one of the best omelets I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant is just alongside a gas station, and we happened on it by chance. Service was very good. And had too much fun with the sign.

I have ordered takeout on 3 different occasions and each time the order is wrong. I asked for sunny-side-up eggs and it wasn’t even close. The excuse I was given by the owner is that the eggs continue to cook while in the container. I understand that food continues to cook once taken off the cooking surface, but not to the extent it cooks the eggs all the way through on both sides. I wasn’t even apologized to by the owner, just given a terrible excuse. I will continue to support small businesses in this area, but this isn’t one of them that I will support.
I don’t believe that customers are always right, but when you tell the owner himself that your orders have been messed up before taking the last order home, only to have your next order missing food when you get home. So how should a business make it right with the customer when every order is consistently wrong? I don’t have all the answers, but southern hospitality dictates that you apologize at the minimum. Little advice, make your customers happy…they will return. I don’t recommend take-out. I also would recommend a better inspection of the order before you completely seal the bags making it harder for the customer to inspect their order.
Best of luck on fixing your issues, if you care.

Small, friendly, clean. Good cooks! Reasonably priced. They are getting ready to remodel a little. I think that the management might be changing. My husband and I love to drive over from Nixa to eat there. Update, the sisters are doing a great job. We try and go at least once a week.

Food is fine but unless you are really close to the owners they don’t care about your table. They have never willingly just brought me refills without me asking. Then proceeded to roll their eyes when you ask them for anything. They make you feel like you don’t belong there and are an inconvenience.

I’d give them zero stars if that was an option. I’ve been here a few times and the service is always terrible, but, today was beyond the worst. We got there at 11:30, didn’t get our food until 12:45 and left by 12:54 because the food they served us was cold! Our waitress brought our children’s pancakes our first with no syrup (the adults still didn’t have our food) she continues to bring people out cake, drinks and answer the phone all the while we still don’t have our food and our children are sitting with there’s in front of them unable to eat because they still have no syrup. She finally brings our food to us and it’s cold, I sent one of my items back because who really wants to eat cold French toast. We leave this place at 12:54 because all the food is cold and nasty. I make the complaint known to I’m assuming one of the owners and her response is “well we’re not McDonald’s we do make our food to order”. Umm, okay? So why is my food being brought to my table cold then? She had nothing to say… just your total is $27.53. I paid and left, NEVER will I go back or recommend this place to anyone. The only recommendation this place will ever get from me is not to go there.

The restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. The food came out fast, hot, amd delicious. The staff was very friendly and cam around often to check on our group.
It is a small town feel, with a big town taste.

We love this place.

The food is good, the family that own and run it are exceptional and the atmosphere in the dining room is quaint and cute. Feels like eating at a close relative’s house instead of a diner. Great portions for the price point and you won’t leave hungry unless you are trying to.
