Love the concept aesthetic and food of this place. the seat yourself concept, the double milkshake serving, plus the kind staff and the food is also unbeatable. The chicken and french toast is a must try, the breakfast burrito is decent. Loved the peanut butter milkshake!

I would brunch here every week! The food is tasty, prices are reasonable and the staff was super nice calling us “my friend.” I would definitely go again. My order was The Diner Royale. I ordered a side of tater tots

I’ve been here since Covid 2020 but never have left a review. I went today to visit the old neighborhood of Adams Morgan and my childhood home. I stopped by for a cup of tea before going home. I was going through a personal crisis and tried to remain calm. The staff welcomed me, attended to me to let me be, and made sure I was safe. I’m so happy that in my moment of weakness the staff made me feel safe. The tea I drank which was a mint, aided me. As I write this I’m beyond grateful and can’t repay the generous support the wait staff gave me. We all go through something. Sometimes a waiter is always there to help or go above and beyond. Thank you Diner.

We came in for sunday brunch and the food was delicious and worth the trip! The bartender made fabulous drinks for the table! Our server Ary went above and beyond with the service, being attentive and making us feel like valued guests. We are already planning our next visit

Went here on a beautiful Sunday morning after being awake for nearly 30 hours. Got the classic eggs benedict, and both eggs were poached to perfection. The home fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfect for mopping up the remaining yolk and hollandaise. Portion size was generous, staff were friendly and attentive, and the large windows at the front are perfect for people watching while you dine. All in all a great experience, and I will be coming back again to try their lunch/dinner fair in the near future. Happy to have found this lovely spot.

A no frills 24 hour diner, just like the name suggests. Tables move quick and service was fast and friendly. Outside seating or bar seating too. A collection of cocktails and beer if you desire. Food was above average with all the classics and portions that will fill you up. Family friendly with milkshakes and a kids menu. Prices were fair. Just a simple diner that you can’t go wrong with. Parking will be difficult.

I just watched the chef smash the hash browns on the grill with his bare hands with no gloves on. When I asked the server about what I saw and why he has no gloves on, he began speaking to me in Spanish and tried to justify the chefs actions. After the server spoke to him, the chef put on the same gloves he had been wearing to make other food and I just felt disgusted seeing that. Ended up getting up and leaving which sucks because I eat there all the time and the food is always great. I just always sat somewhere that I couldn’t see the kitchen or chef, but today I sat at the bar so I could see the his unsanitary behavior.

The DINER is in proximity to the zoo and open 24/7. I was here on a Monday morning and the diner was almost empty. The food is typical for a diner, with sandwiches, waffles, eggs, pancakes, and hash browns. I had a premium breakfast, including hash browns, a pancake, sausages, and scrambled eggs, and an orange juice (approximately 23 Dollars). The service was friendly. The food was fast prepared, a huge portion and the taste was good. I can recommend the DINER.
