This place is such a hidden gem. Food is fabulous, with new specials monthly which are delicious & affordable. The bartenders/waitstaff are quick, friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is fun & the restrooms are always immaculate. Slots machines are a bonus, they pay out big regularly. The owner is a great guy who clearly cares about his patrons. I highly recommend The Detour!

Back in the area visiting friends / family & found this gem. While you could characterize The Detour as a “bar”, the food is way above that.
Visited twice during our stay, trying the Reuben Rolls, Chicken Wings, Breakfast Burger & Detour Brat. Kudos to the kitchen, as everything came out hot, made to order & super tasty.
Service was great, drinks were top notch. Highly recommended.

Wings were great! The blue cheese is…..OMG delicious! We enjoy going to The Detour. Nice atmosphere and good service.

1st time visiting this place finally! The food was really good!! Very very reasonably priced too! The service was lacking a bit but she was alone doing the bar and tables. I think a dedicated server could help with that. Overall will absolutely be back to try other menu items and grab some drinks!

the bartender was the sweetest gal i would come back for just her alone unfortunately i didn’t catch her name but ill be coming back just for her alone! i got the tenders and tots with chips to share. my aunt got the french dip and we were both super pleased with our meals! fantastic service great food and nice atmosphere. nice bar to sit down and have lunch with friends or family! i definitely recommend it to anyone who’s been thinking about checking it out!

The Pub Burger on the pretzel bun is incredible! Very well put together and presently so neatly you just want to stare at it and not eat it LOL. Fun environment and atmosphere. Friendly folks.

They were very, very busy and the bartender was the only person serving all the tables. Drinks were slow coming, not the fault of the bartender as he never stopped moving. Had the sweet potato fries and they were soggy. I recommend ordering extra crispy or just crispy. Food was acceptable, I will try again in the future and update this review.

Looking for something a lil different bcuz that’s what I do!!! So neighborhood bar around the corner, down the street spot., near my work place for lunch. Nothing like a bar burger so full of flavors and the sweet potatoes fries is to die for, never had none that taste as good as these….. and that’s on PERIODT!!! I will be hitting this new spot again off the clock so I can enjoy a cocktail or 2 from a hard days work. Overall it’s a nice clean small chilled bar
