Always stop here when in town for the home made chips n dip, cheese curds, and a brat patty sandwich. All very good. Only reason 4 stars for service and atmosphere is one regular lady kept cussing loudly throughout the meal and the waitress never came back to check on us or refill drinks.

On Saturday and Sunday they have a loaded bloody marry for $13. Really good deal in my opinion. Not the most amazingly best bloody mix I’ve ever had but it is good, and all the toppings you get with it make up for that. We got a burger slider, shrimp,jalapeño peppers, onion rings, olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, chicken wings, beef stick, pickle, mozzarella whips, and bacon. And I’m probably forgetting something. Well worth the buy.

Horrible service! We waited an hour and a half for 2 burgers and cheese curds. While the 4 tables that came in after us all had received their meals, ate, and left. We almost walked out. Our food was very bland other than the burnt flavor of the burger we really didn’t taste any of it. When we finished our meal, we had go up to the bar and hound them just to pay our bill. We told the lady behind the bar that we needed to pay our bill, and she proceeded to wait on 3 other customers getting drinks before cashing us out. They have lost a 30 year customer as I won’t be returning.

We have only heard great things about The Detour so we were in the area around supper time so we decided to stop in and give it a whorl. We were greeted almost immediately by the waitstaff upon entering and they told us to sit where ever we would like. Just as we sat down they were they to take our drink order. All our drinks were out within 2 minutes of us walking in the door and mind you, there was a full bar. We ordered our food and that came out fairly fast as well. The food was amazing! The portions are very large. Usually I can eat my whole meal but this time I could only eat half! Everything about The Detour was amazing….it all started with the service! We most definitely will be back! Best part of all, they take care of their veterans! Thank you again!

We used to go to ‘The Round-up’ under previous management. We always enjoyed the burgers. We knew it was under new owners and had been wanting to try again. My husband I went there today, and there are some nice improvements in the interior. A great family atmosphere, great menu and exceptional food.
