Went for a special occasion. First time we had gotten to celebrate in 7 years. We were hoping this would be a special dinner and night out but were disappointed instead. The food order wasn’t correct. The waitress had no clue what she was doing or she was drunk it seemed. She had a hard time with the thing she was using to put our order in, she couldn’t find anything we said. I think paper and pen would be a better option honestly!
We wanted to switch our sides for something else. Well we got the original sides and had to pay for the other ones as well. Per her mess up. The steak was dry and the baked potato was still hard and cold. Nothing we had seemed fresh at all.
Just don’t waste your money here, if you want mediocre you can get that somewhere else a heck of a lot cheaper. They let these young kids run this place that have no clue what they are doing or have a stick of customer service training or waitressing, No how are you a smile or anything. They need a different cook as well because if they think this is top of the line cooking they’re wrong. We don’t drink but if we had I’m sure the food would have tasted a lot better lol.

Half fill and can not get food out. We just sit down and was told they couldn’t put orders in. Then after fifteen minutes it would be a hour before we could even get our food. That being said I would not recommend.

Been there many times. Today they were busy, so they sat us in a front table near to door. Everyone gathered up at our table to chat from people leaving and entering. That was uncomfortable enough. Then one of the kids coughed a wad of FLEM on our table. When ask the waitress apologized and cleaned it off. Made no effort to move us. I told her I knew it was nother fault but I was disappointed and wanted her to tell the manager. I was not searching for a discount but an apology from the manager would have been appropriate. I will not be back. No manager and NO respect. What happened to the Depot I used to eat at ?? My wife may end up there in social events but NOT one more time for me ……

The Depot has been a personal favorite of mine for years.
They consistently have some of the best food in Corbin and the service is always excellent.
I just WISH they would do something about the lighting. Even with the table lights it’s way too dark.
It won’t stop me from coming, just a hopeful suggestion!

Soooo disappointed! We were really looking forward to our Valentine’s dinner, BUT, It was not as advertised. The pics showed the scallops in a small iron skillet. They were smaller than pictured and on a small plate. My grilled chicken was very dry, the waiter disappeared for ages while our drinks were empty, and also got the order wrong. We will not be back.

My wife and I went there for our 41st anniversary with dear friends. More casual than what we usually are use to when out for our anniversary. But let me tell you the quality and flavor of our meals more than made up for it. Our server was phenomenal, so attentive to our needs! We met David whom I assume is the owner, a very nice man. We will be regulars from now on.

Me and my fiancé went in and the waitress Stacey was so nice and the food was amazing. We didn’t have to wait very long to be seated or to get our food. 10/10 definitely recommend!!!

Passed through for the holidays. Atmosphere was perfect for lunch and they had plenty of spots for photos. We had the beef tips and smothered chicken with side of mushrooms and fries. Everything was extremely delicious. Quaint vintage and cool place with delicious food. Will come back

I really liked this restaurant until I accidentally left my credit card there. We were on our way to Florida. When I noticed it at our next stop, I called them and they said they had it. I asked them if they would mail it to our address in Florida, and they were so nice, and said yes they would definitely do that. Luckily, I put a hold on it, so no further charges could be made, because then the fake charges started showing up. Two from Paris even. And of course I never received the credit card, and it’s been over 2 weeks. Now I have to call the credit card company and report it stolen and go through all the hassle of getting a new card. I would like to report them to the police, but probably would do no good. So disappointed in the honesty of people.
