What a lovely little (BIG) surprise on the I-25 business loop of Springer, CO. We’re driving south from Denver to Albuquerque and saw this on the map and thought, let’s try it. We are VERY happy we did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other drivers.
My husband and I shared the tomato hatch chilli soup, which was Yum-mie, the Greek salad (with waaaay more than the usual 4 olives ) and the shepherds pie. I usually make my own pie but this was great! Lots of veges, meat and the cheese topped mashed tatties on top. We’ll definitely pop in again when we are traveling this way. Thank you The Depot

Had a lovely time stopping here today. My BLT was sublime and the fries were deliciously seasoned. Steven and Melissa the owners have put their heart into their business and the love they have for their customers is known. We shared a warm conversation with them over a warm, yummy meal.

Coming thru Springer we decided to stop here for lunch.
Food was pretty darn good with an ample amount. Restaurant is a family business and they also own the historic hotel ( which we have yet to stay in).
Service was good. It appears there is a full bar if that’s your thing. No problem parking. Right on the main drag thru town. I wouldn’t hesitate to stop again.

Fantastic food just off I-25 in northern NM. We had the green chili cheeseburger (it is NM) and the turkey club. The cheeseburger was outstanding, excellent beef, with chopped grilled green chilies. The club featured delicious sliced roasted turkey, not the deli stuff, and wonderful thick sliced bacon. The Depot really cares about their ingredients and you taste it.

We were just passing through, looking for food between Las Vegas and Clayton at 8pm and we weren’t expecting too much, but this place was fantastic. Everything we had was top-tier and full of flavor. Service was fast and friendly, and we enjoyed our whole experience.

Very attentive service immediately upon entering. Great local craft beer selection. The Diablo burger is legit. Hand packed local meat and cooked to perfection with great chile sauce. Sweet potato fries

We were pleasantly surprised and so glad we stopped at The Depot on our way through Springer! We expected typical small-town fare, but even just reading through the menu, you can tell they really care about food. Our youngest’s chicken strips were hand-breaded. Our oldest a hamburger was juicy and had a great flavor. My wife and I both got the Triple Stack Tacos (three shredded beef soft tacos) was fantastic. Even had a great conversation with the owner who asked since this was a new item for them. So impressed that they are changing items and asking for input. Family-run, and helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely eat here again!

By far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to while on our family road trip. If you want a Home cooked meal while on the road, this is a hidden gem you want to stop at.

This place is awesome. We have ordered here many times and they are the only place in nearby that delivers. Delicious food, with breakfast lunch and dinner options. I really enjoy the French toast and the Swiss mushroom burger. We haven’t had the chance to eat inside yet. Highly recommend.
