My family and I have ate at the Depot many times. Most of the time we have had pretty good service other than a couple of times but I believe the young girl hadn’t worked their long so we understood. One of the ladies that work there is really nice and friendly. My daughter and grandson love the popcorn chicken kids meals. I feel like the grilled tenderloins have changed over time which is a little sad because that’s what I usually order and they use to be the best. But I still like going there because they have veggie soup often and thats my favorite soup. I wouldn’t recommend getting carry out tho. Tonight we ordered carry out for the first time and i asked what were the sizes of the soups to go. We were showed two different sizes assuming that they get fairly filled up and they definitely didnt. My “bowl” had about the same as my sons cup of vegetable soup. And my “cup” of potatoe soup had a piece of plastic in it. The potatoe soup was hot but the vegetable soup wasn’t hot. On the plus side My kids said their coconut cream pie was really good. I would just suggest dining in instead of carry out.

Traveling and let Google Maps tell me what’s ahead that’s has great food. Google did not fail. I had the Railhead, it was like a horseshoe only with Chili. Filled me up easily. Loved the flavor. DH had the Cheeseburger, cant go wrong there. The service was quick and friendly. Overall this was a great stop.

What a great surprise for travelers. Friendly efficient staff. Definite truck stop atmosphere featuring very worn booths. I gave 5 stars for atmosphere because I felt the history behind each torn vinyl booth seat and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The cardboard box at the entrance offering free turnips to a good home and the telephone number offering free roosters added to the ambience. Asking a neighboring table how the stuffed pepper special she ordered opened up a conversation with one of the locals. This gave me a quick glimpse into The Depot’s weekly variety. What a treat and to top it off, my Philly Sando…well it was the best I’ve ever had!

Mix feelings.. Let’s go with the good first. The waitress was a sweet girl that was very busy because she was by herself. The prices are a little high for what you get. Dinners only get one side for 12.00.
I had the Deluxe Burger because I was very hungry. 8.50 and add 2.00 if you want fries. That’s crazy because the burger was very small and there wasn’t many fries.
Next time I might just keep going up the road to another place.

Great roadside stop. Such a cool old building too! Reminds me of a 1960’s church. Service is always so happy & nice. This is a small town establishment so slow down a little if you’re in a rush. This won’t be the fastest meal, but it may be the most relaxing way to start your morning. Breakfast is pretty dang good. $8.50 for 2 eggs, toast, sausage, & hash browns. Skip the gravy. It’s not homemade. Make it $12 for country fried steak & eggs or strip steak & eggs. $13 for a ribeye. Coffee did the trick. Grab gas on the way out since it’s a filling station too. Two birds & all. Oh!! I almost forgot. Try a slice of PIE

All American style diner. Burgers, plates, soup of the day. Casual place. Plenty of seating. Have never had to wait for a table. Staff is friendly. Kitchen is efficient. Food is decent. A little pricey, but everything is. A regular stop for us.

Cute little place to eat with lots of options for food. Breakfast all day long was a hit for me. I got the meat lover skillet, kids got pancakes and all of it was so good. The skillet was so big and the pancakes are huge and the prices were awesome. Lots of parking and a big lot for semis. Cute little hidden Gem in a small town, which are places I love to eat at. Highly suggest. Oh the the wait staff was super friendly.

The Depot has become one of my favorite stops for home cooked food. There is plenty of truck parking. The service was excellent. Everyone in the store and restaurant was very helpful and kind. I went on a Saturday afternoon. The place was quiet and comfortable. Perfect for a little out of the truck peace. I had the daily special – Country fried steak and gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, sweet tea, and a side of fried mushrooms to go. Great price for the portions. Delicious and enough for leftovers. I will be stopping back by to try out breakfast. Lovely people serving mouth watering food.
