The Den on 11th is a fantastic place ! Everything about this place is pure class, from the incredible menu and impeccable quality of the food, to the incredible plethora of cocktails, to especially, the AWESOME service above all else. Krissy, Katia, and Lucy are total pros and are some of the nicest people you could ever meet for your servers. They all have awesome personalities (the kind you would want to hang out with for drinks any time after hours!) and they have extensive knowledge of their menu. Nicole the friendly bartender makes her own libations for the holidays but can make anything! Her espresso martini is YUMMY. Bo the chef that makes it all happen is a magic man!!!: The cheeseburger (that I get medium rare) is DELISH as is all their happy hour entrees as well as their full extensive menu. The calamari and mussels, especially here in Colorado, were cooked impeccably and were a very pleasant surprise..Bo is a class act and sent over a delicious piece of home made chocolate cake as a classy lagniappe for my dad and me the other night. (My dad is 85 and drives up here every week from Boulder to go get a “Bo Burger”. ) Taylor the owner is a great guy as well and he has a classy wonderful place Longmont is lucky to have!!!!! Krissy, Lucy, Katia and Nicole are FUN and wonderful folks..HIGHLY recommend!!!!! KILLER place and my photos speak for itself. !

We started it off with some crab cake- it was very moist and there was 0 fishy taste and the flavors were well balanced. For the main dish we got the burger and prime rib pasta- both were really good, but the pasta was definately the stand out! The only reason why I will rate the food 4 in this place is because the dessert- apple pie we got tasted very mediocre. The apples were just too hard for my liking and the over all taste was just lacking. Otherwise, we enjoyed our main dishes and will probably wat here again and just have dessert else where.

Overall was good, not great. Would give it a 3.5. The Steak Frites was the star; best in Longmont. The Lasagna was interesting; very meat driven and not as cheesy and gooey as I like. A bit dry as well. Unfortunately none of the entrees was as hot as they should have been. Burrata was excellent and thanks for having Oysters.

The wine selection was very disappointing. Not even a dozen wines. No one enjoyed the Tuscan Sella Antica we ordered. Two wines from Paso Robles which is odd given how small the list is.

Service was excellent. (Female, dark hair, short).

I was here last night with some friends, and could not have had a better experience with our server Luci! It was absolutely slammed and she was running from table to table, but not once did she lapse in her attention of us and made sure to help us feel welcomed and truly appreciated. The food was delicious (I got the whitefish piccata and loved it), and their cocktails are off the chain.
Seriously though: Luci is a rock star!
P.S. The chocolate cake was phenomenal. 🙂

What an amazing gem of a restaurant! Stopped by for dinner, on a whim and without a reservation – we were seated quickly and our server greeted us shortly after. Hands down, one of the best meals we have had in the entire state of Colorado! I had the chicken marsala, my husband ordered the lasagna & we both finished our plates fare la scarpetta. The marsala arrived with a generous mushroom serving, plus the gratin potatoes had the most delicious crunch, add in the sauce and My husband said the lasagna was the best he ever had! We can not wait to return, and order something lighter so we can enjoy a cream brulee (feel super confident it will be amazing based off tonight’s experience)

We had a very nice Dinner. Service was great. Atmosphere was wonderful.

The Shirley Temple was pretty. The hamburger was a little too pink.

Don’t ask for medium if you don’t like your burger to be half pink.
Fries were some of the best I have ever had.
There were cute lights on the table too.

**Update. Now there’s a weekend brunch! The brioche french toast is yummy and can probably be split for 2 people. It’s filling.

This is an expensive restaurant. We got lured here by a Facebook ad for a $10 burger. My wife and I are trying to stretch our dollar nowadays, so we’re looking for deals around town now and a $10 burger sounded doable.

When we ordered, I noticed other pictures on the internet showed the $10 burger to be just the meat, cheese, thousand island sauce and bun (and one lonely pickle pinned to the top of the bun). I wanted some veggies on my burger too so I added onion, tomato and lettuce. I subbed a Caesar salad for the fries.

I was prepared to either be disappointed or get a huge bill at the end of the meal.

Results in a nutshell: The burger was good. The fries were good. The salad was pretty bad (try the house salad at urban field – holy crap it’s good and huge!) and the bill was very respectable. All in all, we paid around $27 for the meal for two people after tax and tip. Kudos for them subbing the Caesar salad for the fries with no additional charge! That was a surprise for sure. The add-on tomato on the burger was two cherry tomatoes cut in half, so yea it was tomato, but not a thick, juicy slice of tomato that you’d expect on a cheeseburger.

They have some really good looking options like salmon and other stuff that are in the $20-$30 range per plate, but I didn’t have those, so I can’t say if they were any good or not.

Service is good, but a little slow. Not sure if we looked like bad tippers or something maybe but our water refills were very slow.

I was hoping The Den would be my new favorite restaurant. I love the London Pub feel. You can actually talk and hear each other. The staff smile and are cheerful.
We made reservations but when we arrived, they said we could be in the bar area. That wasn’t ideal with 2 little munchkins, so they accommodated us in dining area but quite squeezed.
My short rib meal tasted yummy but I got about 4 bite-sized meat pieces, which didn’t match the cost of the entree. I was hoping for lots more meat.
I had to get up and find a waitress to give us a few crackers with our oyster app. We got one small package of oyster crackers, which felt stingy.
My suggestions include a better reservation experience, more generous food portions, and more wait service. When prices go up, one’s expectations also rise.
So far, the Wednesday night hamburger deal is the best.

Perfection.
Im from the East Coast and my husband and I are constantly complaining about the lack of good restaurants with caring service in CO. Well, we tried this place on a Thursday night and we were blown away.
The hostesses were so accommodating and welcoming.
We had the oysters, calamari, burger w/ truffle fries, kale &apple salad with a chocolate cake to go for dessert… everything was spectacular.
Our server (I can’t remember her name for the life of me, Amy?) was wonderful. She took great care of us and timed our meal perfectly. We never felt rushed or neglected as she was the perfect balance of attentive. She was all smiles and hospitality.
The ambiance is cozy and clean. We had a nice little booth by a window. The Dining Room was packed but not too noisy.
This place is a gem and we are so grateful to found it… we will most certainly be back!!
