New favorite place! Great food, coffee and smoothies with a gorgeous view. No complaints here. Also get visited by wild horses here sometimes only thing is they don’t allow dogs on patio which is a huge bummer.

Scenic views tucked away in a quiet hill top neighborhood, this place has lovely service and delicious food. Would recommend the Smokejumper, the Buddha Bowl, and the Avocado BLT. They also have a $125 per person wine pairing that’s got five courses, they do this little shindig in a private room about once a month, but May is the last one for the summer. Call The Den and reserve your spot now. It’s a great spot, a little pricey per item but I think the flavors, the ambience, and abundant space make up for it.

Could have bone of best gourmet pizzas I’ve ever tasted. My wife’s burger was cooked perfectly medium, son’s burger was the cooked to perfection as well.
The staff were very inviting, service was efficient and polite.

Enjoyed a Friday night family dinner and it was excellent! Steak and Frites was amazing! Kids loved their noodles and hamburger slider. Crème Brûlée for dessert. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend giving it a try.

We absolutely LOVE the Den! We get burritos almost weekly and they truly are the best in Missoula. No breakfast burrito compares. Their pizza is also one of our favorites! Friendly staff and clean everytime

I cannot recommend the Den enough! The food, staff, and the setting are incredible. I especially recommend their Canyon pizza, the best in Missoula in my opinion. Grizzly Coaches show on Wednesdays are especially fun. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner there and he is so helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that it’s not close enough to my home!

Excellent food. Exceeded expectations. The waiter was very polite and friendly. The atmosphere was quite nice. It has a modern uptown feel with relaxed beautiful views of the mountains. Perfect place for a date night.

We live nearby, but every time I go up to the Den, I regret it. The coffees are burnt or watery. I’ve gotten hair in burritos, smoothies that are made of all foam, and mold in pastries. Every once in a while, the food is fantastic, but then you can almost guarantee the service will be abysmal. Over the Summer, they don’t correctly stock fruit, so you can’t even order smoothie items. The location is convenient and beautiful, but it’s so poorly run it isn’t worth going to. We’ve tried again and again. I hope I learn my lesson and just go somewhere else.

Great quality food and wonderful views. The coffee is superb and comes in a big fun mug. Where is everyone? It’s always empty, and I can’t figure out why. It can be confusing walking in for the first time because there isn’t a hostess or anyone to greet you most times, but everything else is great.
