I used to genuinely like this place and especially enjoyed their pizza in the past. Unfortunately, something has changed over the last few months. Every time I’ve eaten here recently, I’ve gotten very sick to my stomach with pretty bad indigestion afterward.
I’m not allergic to anything, so that’s not the issue. After the most recent visit, I spent the entire weekend feeling sick after eating a small onion pizza from here. What I once thought was fresh food now really doesn’t feel that way anymore.
I hate leaving negative reviews, especially for a place I used to enjoy, but this has happened enough times now that I can’t ignore it. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend eating here unless you really have no other options.

Just did delivery for dinner & it was quick, easy to order on uber eats & arrived piping hot as if I was there eating it! Food is delicious, onion rings were perfectly crispy & pizza cooked to perfection with the right amount of toppings (garlic, meatball & onion)! Best food in this area! Have NEVER had a thing I don’t like from these guys, added bonus always service with a smile!!

It’s been a minute since I’ve been in East Haven but I do remember getting subs @ the Deli, while it has changed over the years the quality of food & the family friendliness you receive from the second you walked through the door and one more thing the prices

Just picked up a steak & cheese, worst one I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten a microwaveable gas station steak and cheese before. It was 50% thick old onions 25% mayo & hotsauce and 25% chewy steak-ums.

First time here ordered a Pastrami roll but the cheese I wanted was sold out for the day. I as just about to switch to another cheese when a man came in ordering a meatball grinder. I looked over and behind the counter was a huge bowl of freshly rolled meatballs!
So obviously I ordered the meatballs and I wasn’t disappointed. 5 meatballs, loads of sauce, a Foxon cherry soda and a bag of chips $15.

First let me say that the Deli make some amazing pizza at fantastic prices. The picture below is of the barbecue chicken pizza. It’s delicious. The staff are always friendly and cheerful. The place is well stocked with pre-made and general food items and prices are very reasonable. It’s also a very clean establishment.
