Really fresh food for being away from the coast, fantastic view. Occasional planes from the airport, but adds to the experience. The view of boats is very relaxing and you’ll get a gentle wave on “the deck”. Definitely a must waterfront dining experience. All the food was excellent flavor and very fresh. Hurry before the season ends.

This place was amazing and very dog friendly AND accepting! From how the staff acted, they think of dogs as equal customers. I brought my dog and the server gave her a nice bucket of water. My dog kept laying in the isle and was a bit in the way but the servers acted like it wasn’t happening and said she was just fine. I felt safe and happy there and so well taken care of. The server even called me young lady in a kind way which was a nice compliment. Much needed after some events earlier that day. All seating allows for dogs whether inside (in the comfy tent) or on the deck. You can see the water from your seat and feel the restaurant moving under you like a ship but not enough to be sea sick. Such a cool experience and an amazing view of people on the Columbia River sailing.

Great atmosphere on the water. Food is good; our group had a couple burgers, salmon tacos, and fish n chips. All were happy with there meals. Beer was cold, service was fantastic. You’ll almost forget you’re in Portland when you visit The Deck because it feels like paradise in a hot summer day.

We have been to this floating dock restaurant twice now. Both times we’ve sat in the sun and enjoyed the beautiful view. We shared the fried chicken, bacon club and the deck burger. Our dishes were good, not super amazing but we were very happy with them. We will definitely go back. We enjoy the atmosphere and the fun of floating on the water.

We had a great experience here on a very warm May day. The views were absolutely beautiful across the Columbia River. Our server was a pretty nice guy that took our orders and gave us our space. He was just the right amount of attentive. The food was pretty good. We ordered the Deck burger and the Bacon Pesto Grilled Cheese sandwich. The Deck burger was their version of a french dip burger. It was pretty tasty. The menu said the fries were battered, they definitely were not! The grilled cheese was not amazing. Actually it was rather bland. I wish it would have been better like its name described. Overall, it was a good experience and we will return.

Chicken quesadillas were tasty & lots of chicken in it. I really enjoyed mine, but my friends burger was luke warm (not hot) as soon as it reached the table. The young waitress with blonde hair was very nice & polite! We went on a Sunday two weeks ago at 12 noon

Neat Location. Staff was very friendly. Food was good and reasonably priced. I really liked sitting outside overlooking the Columbia on a sunny, mild day in June. My wife and I got there ~2:30 in the afternoon. I imagine this place gets packed later on.

The Deck is a bit like the Island Cafe’s kissing cousin, situated a little further upriver along the Columbia in McCuddy’s Marina off Marine Drive, and a little more obscure: it’s very easy to overlook. Hell, I did for years, until this last weekend! It has its own set of advantages: closer to home (for us), less crowded. It’s a little less photogenic, and a little rougher around the edges in some places, but still a wonderful spot to enjoy some casual lunch fare and cocktails on a warm, sunny afternoon!

First time eating at The Deck I truly enjoyed the kind service, atmosphere was amazing, Canadian geese, sparrows and more were present soaking in the sunset. Not to forget the sailboats and airplanes were a delight to watch.

Nice sitting in the sun sipping buckets of coronitas! Not nice being served by people that had no idea what they were doing and being served raw coconut shrimp! They also came with dry shredded cabbage on the side that was drizzled with what tasted like canned piña colada mix. They also have hunt’s ketchup instead of Heinz and that’s always a red flag. At least the employees were very nice, but very much struggling and the pain witnessing that almost out weighed the pleasure of sitting in the sun near water. Will def go back and drink some beers and will make sure to eat before I go.
