The Deck is a great place to eat. The food is great. The staff at the bar was nothing less than excellent. The atmosphere is also great and very inviting. The only downside on our last visit to the bar: the bees. They were everywhere! Please get an exterminator in there to figure out where the nest is and get rid of them. Once the bees are gone, 5 stars every day of the week.

Great spot with a view, especially when the weather is nice. In some ways, it feels like visiting somewhere other than Fort Wayne to come sit by the water. There are plenty of food and drink items on the menu to choose from!

This spot is a wonderful place to just “hang out” in a warm summer evening. The atmosphere is quite friendly where you can meet up with new people. There is often a wait, but you are able to order drinks and relax, so time passes by quickly. I really enjoyed the pontoon ride. The food feels home cooked and the service was spot on.

Two of us visited the The Deck for the first time around 3 p.m. on a Monday. The view and pleasant outdoor atmosphere is great! The service was slow for someone to arrive at our table. When she arrived she was just present with really no personality. A friendlier server then took over because the first one left for the day. My portobello sandwich was good but my husband’s Poor Boy sandwich was underwhelming. Upon leaving the girl at the hostess station said nothing as she was visiting with 2 other employees. A “hope to see you again” with a smile might have been nice. One of the employees said “I hope we don’t get any busier” to the hostess as we were leaving. I felt like we were bothering her. There were literally 4 people in the bar and 4 in the dining room including ourselves. When the young “hostess” sat us she said nothing and put the menus down on the table. We asked to move to the river side. There were only 2 other people there but she never asked if we had a preference. We would go back for the view and outdoor ambiance but would order something different to eat. The customer service, however, and welcoming attitude needs to step it up a notch. I am giving a 4 star rather than 3 because of the outdoor setting. I was generous also with a 4 for the food but willing to try it again and order something different.

Great atmosphere on the river, perfect for a break downtown. Crowded, which tells you it’s got great food. Everything we had was absolutely delicious: Portabella Mushroom sandwich with tots, Prime Rib sandwich with Mac N cheese, and am amazing carrot cake.

Love the Deck , mostly sandwiches but also excellent salad selection . I had the ahi tuna salad which was perfect. Wife had Philly sandwich and came with au jus as well. Grandson had chicken strips from kids menu and said not to hot and not cold , perfect temp (??) Very nice view of the river. Have a hornet/ wasp issue but not too bad if you ignore them.

We stopped in after a 2.5 hour drive from Ohio (to see a concert at the Clyde theatre). I had googled riverfront dining, Ft. Wayne. They said an hour and 45 minute wait…but probably sooner. We grabbed a beer from the Beergarten and turned out to be about a half hour wait. The menu was small but bountiful. The food arrived way quicker than expected! Really, really good! Staff was awesome too! Thank you.

Came near the end of summer and took advantage of their outdoor space! Ordered a Phat Panda who’s pimento cheese was delicious. Their beer selection was pretty good too!my server was friendly and quick at taking and delivering my order.
