This wonderful restaurant is located in the Deadwood lodge and casino. The steaks were delicious and the customer service was on par. The aesthetics are pleasing with a homey feel to it. I tried the buffalo ribeye which was decent. Check it out if you’re in the area.

My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner to The Deadwood Grill and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! I had the ribeye with grilled asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, and a steamed carrot. My wife had the filet mignon with grilled asparagus, steamed carrot, and pan-seared potatoes. We shared a complimentary dessert (anniversary) cheesecake with raspberry topping. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great! Our server was always there at the right times without being intrusive and was very helpful with the menu questions we had. If I am ever back in Deadwood, I will be returning to the Grill!

Great restaurant! Our waitress was Katie. Very personable and attentive. The food was pretty awesome. I had the seafood risotto and my wife had 6oz filet. One note: I had the chicken stew, which was way over salted. I could tell that it would’ve been pretty awesome if not for all the salt. That’s my only complaint. Other than that, it was an overall great experience! Yes, I would recommend this establishment! And I also recommend reservations as well. Fantastic decor and service!

Best place to eat in Deadwood. Literally could not have asked for a better meal nor a better waitress. Katie was fantastic – bubbly and attentive. This is one of those meals you remember for a long time because of how great an experience you had. The food… simply fantastic. Fresh, great tasting meat and sides, and good-sized portions. The staff were taking good COVID precautions as well, wearing masks and what looked like tables moved appropriately. None of the precautions though resulted in anything less than a fantastic experience. Do not miss this place for dinner if you’re in the area!

Very disappointed. Not impressed at all. We waited an hour and a half to be seated when there were plenty seats available. Do they do that on purpose in hopes that you go drop some cash in their slots? Because, we didn’t. Finally we get seated and our waitress says, after taking our orders, oh, did you want a drink? Nah, its ok. I dont need a drink. What kind of stupid question is that?? My filet was cooked good but the vegetables and potatoes left a whole lot to be desired! The shrimp bisque almost tasted burnt. Maybe it was just the taste. Terrible service. Not worth the money or time.

I ordered the salmon brushetta and it was absolutely terrible. It wasn’t what I expected at all and I’m one who really loves fish! It seemed to be uncooked, covered in way too many diced tomatoes and onions and was covered in a terrible sauce of some sort. What I expected was a cooked salon on top of a larger version of the bread it was put on with only a little amount of tomato and onion. I had my folks try some of the salon and they were in an agreement with me about how it tasted. One of them said it was just butchered and I’m totally on board with that.
The restaurant was very fancy, clean, and relaxing, however; it was overpriced for the OK meal.
Not sure if I would come back or not.
