I saw a recent ad on Facebook of this place and figure I try it out. The chili dog and fries with cheese and gravy was pretty good. I really enjoyed the taste of the chili and will try it on the fries next time. I was actually surprised that not only did they make a really good cheesesteak, but that it’s one of the few places around that uses Cooper Sharp cheese. I definitely recommend it. They have some parking on the side but if it’s packed, I would park on the side street. Just in case someone was wondering, they do accept credit. I look forward to trying out the other menu items.

Small place, tasty food, interesting decorations… unfortunately, they didn’t have shakes available (perhaps their machine was made by the same company that makes a certain fast food franchise’s machines? JK). The dogs were wrapped up in a way that made sure you didn’t make a mess of yourself when opening. Nice people.

Tried the santa fe and was amazed at how well the flavors work. Wife had the Zane and loved it. Also tried the salchipapa and it was decent but the fries don’t hold up to the sauce and they get soft (I ordered online so I won’t hold that against them). I give service a four because again I ordered online. Atmosphere, this building has always been ridiculously small and meant for takeout so again don’t hold it against them. Will definitely be going back!

I always order onion rings wherever I can around town. The Dawg House hands down serves some of the best onion rings around. Clean break through the rings. Onions don’t pull through the breading like most places. If you’re ever passing though Hawthorne, make sure to stop at the Dawg House or Bogies Hoagies fir the most prestige O Rings in Passaic County!

Driving through town at the end of last year, I saw this spot opened up where a few others had been previously… cautiously I investigated online and found a menu that caught my eye.
Damn good food. Their cheesesteak is sensational. Service is quick and friendly. Prices are beyond fair for what is being offered, and they do not skimp out on the quantity.

I got a deep fried dog all the way.
The sauce was perfect , bun was soft and fresh and hot dog itself had a perfect snap and overall flavor was excellent.

First time there today and I am extremely impressed. I had one of their Mac and Cheese bowls and it was awesome! Some of the best Mac and cheese I have had! Glad there’s a new lunch place in the neighborhood.
