Everything about this place is fantastic! The vibe is vibrant but laid back. The music is right in the groove. The food is phenomenal! We had the meatball sliders, chicken tinga tostadas, and the papas bravos – every bite of every one was as delicious as the previous bite. And the drinks! Go to this place!

Had a good steak and some tunes on a Monday evening. The steak was good, the potatoes and Brussels sprouts were excellent. Was advertised as steak and jazz from 6-10, but the band seemed to set up around 7.

Naomi is the coolest bartender and makes such incredible drinks! She’s so friendly and always will accommodate to any feedback you have to give. She never has made me any drink too sweet and will come up with a drink to fit your palette on the spot! The Davenport overall has such a great vibe and a list of weekly and monthly events! The food?! Impeccable and am 100% coming back again, I found my new favorite bar in town! Such a safe space for any lgbtqia+ people too!

The place is very small and seating is limited. Staff is rude! My wife and I walked in. the bar was cluttered. We asked if a seat was taken because it looked like someone was sitting there and it just wasn’t cleaned up yet. His response was yes it’s taken and we looked around and we said it’s taken? and he said yes by her and he points to the bar back. So the short story is we couldn’t sit down because an employee was taking chairs at the bar. He impatiently waited for us to decide what we wanted to drink. We asked for a menu .He grabbed a menu, gave it to us and turned his back to us and started talking to another patron. We decided what I wanted to order and he contenued the conversation for extended amount of time and would not even look at us. My wife and I walked out.. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Went there a few afternoons ago and the first thing I noticed was the atmosphere. Very modern, laid back, and accepting, which I am all about. But the reason for the lowered rating is the pricing. It’s outrageously pricy and I almost left for the Golden Chick across the street. The drinks were generally terrible with 1 out of 6 being good. While I enjoyed my time there, it was 100% due to the company and nothing The Davenport had to offer.

This is such a little hidden gem. The atmosphere and events almost every night are great. We love the steak night with jazz music on Monday’s and excited to see they have a salsa band on Thursday’s. If neither of those are your vibe, there’s even drag brunch on the weekends.
