Stopped in for a couple hours with my daughter. Played a game, had coffee and stayed for lunch. Rave review from the 7 year old “I never want this day to end!”

Wonderful place to stop in and stay for a bit. Zoupa soup and Capresse sandwich and Chai latte were wonderful.

Great food and friendly staff. Also offers a small but delicious selection of bakery items. (I enjoyed the lemon cheese Danish so much that I got another one to go.) It’s also a convenient location to meet others and enjoy a meal.

Pro: the lavender lemonade was good
Cons: $13 for a sandwich that was supposed to be a grilled cheese but the slice of Colby jack wasn’t even melted and a bag of chips is really overpriced. The pulled pork grilled cheese tasted better but not $17.50 better. One of the servers was SO loud, shout talking at regulars…if we hadn’t driven from Columbia, I wouldn’t have supported the establishment based on the flags outside.

Such a welcoming, refreshing environment with delicious food and coffee. We felt so welcomed not only because of the warm decorations and clear sense of community that the staff and customers felt, but also the genuine kindness and hospitality of the owner and manager who we interacted with! Absolutely above and beyond experience. Also, just a super cool place to look around! They provide a space for small businesses and creators to sell their products – there were fun stickers, jewelry, and artwork to look at, and lots of cozy decor. It is so refreshing to see such an inclusive, community building, and filled-with-love business thrive in Missouri!!

Love it!

Excellent food made from fresh ingredients, many of which are created on site.

The Lavender Lemonade and Lionade were absolutely delicious.

The Fruit Parfait and Mushroom Grilled Cheese were amazing.

Comfortable seating and laid-back atmosphere as well as a small deck with picnic tables and umbrellas.

Games on the shelf to spend some quality time with friends.

Super nice staff.

Made a quick pit stop at the Dandy Lion for breakfast and a cup of coffee. The service and friendliness of the staff is really what was the highlight for us. They greeted all the guests coming in the same way, which is nice and almost a rarity among many businesses these days.
The negatives — The food on the other hand, at least what we had, and the atmosphere just really wasn’t our cup of tea. For example, I had the sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and I believe it had mustard on it which totally changed the flavor and not in a good way. Maybe some like this kind of combination??? As far as the atmosphere, I definitely like the idea of having a glass garage door to open to let the breeze in but the downside to that is that you have to fight off the fly’s and gnats while trying to enjoy your meal. Again, maybe some don’t mind this but when we like to eat, the last thing I want to do is guard my food or keep my hand moving to ward off anything landing. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t like there was a swarm or even a ton of fly’s but just a couple buzzing around that is looking for something to land on is still not pleasant when trying to eat. Lastly, no cinnamon rolls and was informed that it has not been on the menu for some length of time. Google listing needs to be updated.

I walked in after an exhausting train ride from Washington. I was immediately impressed. Not only was the atmosphere outstanding and oh so cute, and super clean!! I was greeted by the most amazing staff. They made me feel so welcomed which was nice after my train and uber ride. Food and coffee was outstanding!! Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back again.

One of the absolute best experiences we’ve had in a long time. Feeling immediately welcome, we were immediately mesmerized. The look and feel is incredibly inviting and lovely. Add that to the food that was out of this world, it’s a veritable diamond in the rough! Also, all the local art is fantastic and for sale!

Such an amazing place to walk in to and enjoy a part of your day. My latte was so great! The staff was friendly, inviting, knowledgeable and easy going. Really made my day. Check out their art corner for trinkets to buy or games and crafts to make while you sip your latte. Got myself some Sassy Stickers. 10/10
