The Dam Inn is an incredible restaurant tucked away in a picturesque setting. The views are spectacular. If the weather is nice, make sure you sit outside on the patio. The service is always friendly. And the food… well everything is incredible! Plus, they have a large room for wedding receptions and other large events!! I highly recommend the Dam Inn!!

My husband and I were grouse hunting near the Dam Inn and we decided to stop by and get some food, mine was very good, but my husband ordered the bowl of chili and it was so spicy that he could not eat it. I love spicy food and it was also too hot for me. The waitress was very nice, but we had to find her to pay the bill. And I told her about the chilli and she just said oh I’m sorry. He took 3 bite’s and didn’t finish it, but we never got offered to take it off the bill. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

An Elk County staple. The atmosphere is always good here; full of energy, but still relaxed. The food and drink are great with lots of options for each.

This is also the prime location in the area for a wedding, reception, or large party. I personally used the reception hall for my wedding an had an excellent overall experience.

Absolutely blown away, first time customer. Me and my friend stopped in after long day of hunting.
Atmosphere was comfortable not noisy
Fresh ground beef, Bacon cheeseburger, very juicy & great flavor, Fries crispy & hot.
Our waitress was very nice.
I hate eating out in any restaurant, but I will eat there again.

I got a steak salad. It was ordered medium well. The waitress stated ” It’s cooked too temperature.” I thought that was an odd statement. I asked “Do you have chunky Blue Cheese dressing? Answer, yes.
Steak salad was smaller than expected. Steak was overcooked and greasy, with only twelve French fries. Yes, I counted them. Blue cheese dressing was not chunky, and very bland at best.
She never returned to the table to check anything.
By the time I saw the waitress again, I had been finished with my beer for five minutes and was ready to leave.
The place was nice with Live entertainment, Service and food disappointing.

Our party has five people tonight. All of us received cold to luke warm food. Three dishes had fries only one had hot fries. Two dishes were bowls with rice in them. The rice was cold, clumpy and some not thoroughly cooked. Our waitress didn’t have much time for us she was busy with other tables. She gave one in our party a refill on his drink, but the rest of us didn’t even get asked about a refill until we were ready to leave. One in our party wanted a second alcoholic drink and her glass was taken but the second drink never received. Very disappointed after all the good things I’ve heard about this place.

If you’re starting from St Mary’s, go NORTH. Not south. GPS is delusional – it took us 9 miles south and then said to make a u-turn. Food was decent, service got off to a rocky start but recovered. No AC. Cash only, no cards, but ATM on site. The river is RIGHT THERE – you could jump off the patio railing and land in it, although this is probably frowned upon by management.
