What a wonderful, eclectic dining experience!!! The food AMAZING. I am from NYC and when I tell you I had the most delicious pizza pie called the white buffalo with wild mushrooms. My mouth is watering now just thinking about it. The broccoli was scrumptious and the garlicky sourdough bread was out of this world. The chicken thighs in cast iron skillet looked so good I wanted to eat some even though I have not eaten meat in over 20 years!!! We are already thinking of when we can get back up to the Catskills to enjoy this gem of a place again. Sara the owner was so sweet, cool & accommodating. She answered all our questions about the menu. All I can say is you have two new customers for life. Grace & peace ❤️

Where do I start?! Sara and Eric are absolute gems!!!! They made my week completely. The food was divine, the energy the conversations … they have everything I’ve been looking for. They made it feel like I was family. The aesthetic of the place is gorgeous and comforting. I am officially a regular now. We love this place so much. Proper community hub full of personality & energy & the best hospitality. Pizza is diviiiiine and so are the cocktails (get the Catskills old fashioned). The Dale is one of those places you walk into and immediately feel like, “Ahh, this is where I’m supposed to be.” The whole setup is clean, classy, and has that perfect balance of heimish warmth and upstate chill. They clearly put real thought into the décor — not just a few pictures on the wall and called it a day. It’s cozy, it’s stylish, and it just works.
The drinks here are next level. From the first sip you can tell they actually know what they’re doing — well-balanced, smooth, and presented like they take pride in it. Whether you’re going for something strong, something sweet, or something just to unwind after a long day, they mix it right every time. No guessing, no “maybe it’s good today,” just consistent, solid, well-made drinks.
The atmosphere is really what makes the place. Chill music, comfortable seating, and a crowd that’s relaxed but still respectful. It’s the kind of place where you can sit with friends, schmooze for an hour, and not feel rushed. Even the lighting is on point — warm, calm, just the right amount to make you want to stay longer than planned.
And yes, even the bathroom is surprisingly impressive — someone clearly decided that the vibes should continue everywhere. Yasher koach to whoever handled that.

I live nearby but had no idea this place was even here. I was riding by on the motorcycle and heard the live music and had to stop to check it out. Great food, drinks and excellent service! Can’t wait to come again. Everything looked really good and the live music was a winner.

Cast iron chicken thighs: Local chicken thighs, cooked in rich duck fat with a blend of fresh herbs, garlic, and smoked sea salt, resulted in a truly delightful dish! The infusion of duck fat elevated the flavors, making it impossible to savor just a single bite. But too bad that the pizza’s edges and chicken skin were slightly burned, and imparting a bitter flavor.

Very hip place if you are looking to listen to music, have some cool cocktails and eat amazing pizza. My husband and I were not dressed for a night out so we definitely felt out of place. However, the pizza was unique and very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive and they had a karaoke night so they have a cool vibe going.
