Since their inception in May of 2016, The Daily Ration has been working hard to meet people in the neighborhood, grow their team and put out a consistent and delicious product. Great food and atmosphere. Fair pricing! Good coffee. I had the chorizo burrito and it was delicious and generously portioned. The salted caramel latte was great too! Will be coming back here for sure! It’s a quiet, chill environment with an “order at the counter” set up. There’s outdoor seating here too for when the weather warms up.

Daily Ration never misses. My latte came out with the sweetest little heart on top and tasted just as good as it looked. The espresso shot was smooth, the biscuits with homemade jam were incredible, and the breakfast burrito was honestly next level. We sat outside under the heaters and it was such a cozy, relaxed way to start the morning.

Located on Dartmouth Street in Chattanooga, this breakfast/brunch/lunch restaurant is open 7 days a week (I don’t know their holiday schedule). We arrived around 11 a.m. on a Saturday morning. You order at the counter, are given a number, and you find a seat. They have a few tables inside. Most tables are outside on the mostly covered patio. A few tables are not covered/shaded. They have a great menu options and have coffees and cocktail offerings. A couple of us had the chorizo burrito. In our group we also ordered the Breakfast Burrito, Grits, Kids Waffle w/ blueberries, bacon, and syrup, iced latte, and coffee. Everything was delicious in generous portions. They have two restrooms.

The restaurant had a really comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were super nice and attentive, which made the experience even better. The flapjacks were delicious, and the hot chocolate was rich and perfectly made.✨

Great outdoor eating, inside space is great too, food was thoughtfully put together and very tasty! The chicken was awesome and the burrito was great! Loved the healthy options as well as the splurges! The outdoor seating was fantastic- even in the rain! There’s a parking lot as well as on the street parking. We did have to go find inside to ask for refills twice but they were super attentive other than that. You must give it a try!

Loved visiting The Daily Ration! I had the chicken and waffles—the chicken was super crispy and flavorful. The waffles were a little sweet for me, but I swapped them for another fried dough option, and it was delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

I ordered two dishes and they both were exceptional. I got the jerk chicken bowl and the chorizo burrito. Both had subtle teas that rival the best food I’ve ever had. Really interesting combinations of sweet and spicy. You should check this out!

This is now one of my favorite breakfast/brunch/lunch spot! Their food and drinks were so good. Its open and kid and pet friendly. I ordered the Tirkey Apple sandwich and a dirty shirt soda. It was the best sandwich. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and a hot vanilla latte.
I would say to some the only downside would be no air conditioning.
It is a stand in line, order at the counter then sit down where you want. They do give you a red card to raise if you need a waitor.

Out of the five of us no one at more than half their plate due to the poor quality. The frozen pre-pattied hamburger, the chicken sandwich basically had no meat on it and the burrito was not eatable. Drinks came after the food was brought after asking three employees could we at least please get some water. We were a bit angry that we left a good tip when ordering, before we saw how poor the service was. I’m guessing they have good coffee to still be in business

You can never go wrong with this place. Their parking lot is a little small however there’s plenty of parking on the street right beside it. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and actually plenty of seating behind the main eating area which most people don’t know about their drink specials for days And really great food as well. You do order at the counter they’ll give you your drinks and then bring your food to your table a little later. This place is actually really cool.
