I mean these must be the nicest employees I’ve ever come across anywhere! The three girls working behind the coffee counter thus morning on 7/28 talked to my 3&5 year old, took care of all their needs, and were so friendly and fun that I was able to eat my lunch! Normally I get one bite when I’m alone with my kids and spend the rest of the time keeping them in their seats! My boys also spilled milk and made a mess and they were so kind, just cleaned it up and said accidents happen. The food and coffee were great as well. Thanks ladies!

Not a ton of space to sit. There wasn’t too many people when we went, not busy at all. The food was actually pretty good. Price is a little higher but it’s a museum. Some of the staff are not helpful and try to avoid eye contact. You get a buzzer for when your food is ready, I had 2 orders and when it buzzed only one of my orders was out, I attempted to ask about my second order but the employee bring food out just ignored me and went back inside. I am still not sure if they bring things out one at a time as I was unable to ask. I had to ask someone that was cooking and they were able to bring the rest of my order thankfully. The food was what made my review 4 stars. We got some wraps and sandwiches.

Food was delicious. They don’t really have many outlets though so it’s hard to work and hangout there. I got the avocado toast and the toasted chicken salad brie sandwich. So good.

Love that the patio is dog friendly here!! They brought our dog a water bowl and treats which was super thoughtful and appreciated Overall, a nice place to grab a beer or coffee and hang with our pup and you can order food online too which makes it even easier to enjoy. Thank you for being a dog friendly restaurant in downtown Raleigh!

The food was great, but a little pricey. That is to be expected at a museum cafe. I was pleasantly surprised at how healthy and full of flavor the generous portions were served on actual plates rather than the expected paper plates. On an eco note, almost everything else was compostable.

This cafe claims to be eco friendly, but uses all non recyclable plastic cups and utensils, and charges $.75 extra for plant based milk in their coffee. There are no vegan options on the menu (other than sides of fruit, tomato cucumber salad or potato chips). The sandwiches we were mediocre, fine but a little bland. The cucumber tomato salad side was the best thing we ordered.

The cheeseburger is as good as what you can get at J Alexander’s, but it costs less. Fries were crispy and delicious. Tip the staff!

Both me and my wife got food poisoning from here. We got the chicken sandwich and were sick for days a few hours after eating. The lines were also ridiculous. The girl at the counter told us all to wrap around the side where other guests were sitting at the bar area and had to stand 2 inches from them trying to enjoy their food. You’re invading personal space at that point, Covid or no Covid. The health dept needs to check on places like this more often. We will never be back and will go to one of the thousand other great places in Raleigh.

It is a museum restaurant so don’t expect 5 star quality, but it’s decent for the price.
