Clubbin in Quarantine
I used to love going after work but after getting sick a few times, I’ve stopped buying food. I like trying some of the specials but with getting a milk alternative it’s pricey and there’s been instances where I got milk (payed for alternative milk) and again got sick. The final straw was waiting in the drive thru with little acknowledgment for a long time. I understand one person working or being busy, but waiting over 5 minutes with nothing? I had to check to see if you were even open and gave up to just leave. If it was one time, fine. But it’s happened multiple times. I wanna support cause I love having a local coffee shop instead of driving further out of town for coffee. But it’s frustrating as a customer, especially with dietary restrictions that have near immediate reactions.

Haven’t had any food yet but the Frappe’s have been amazing. Peeps, Coconut Mocha, Golden Sunset and Lucky Charm. They have a wide variety of flavors and specials they do. Great little place to grab a coffee and go or to hang out. Glad they opened! Favorite new local place.

I love this place! It looks like a place in a bigger city. Service great. My husband had a chicken wrap. Said it was delicious with home made fries! My sister-in-law had a chicken croissant and home made fries. She said it was delicious. I had a strawberry smoothie which was great! We will be going here again. I hope the people of Forest City will support The Daily Grind. It’s so nice to have a fun place to go. And you can actually hear………you don’t leave with a headache.

Overall I haven’t had a great experience at this coffee shop. The frappes I’ve ordered turned out slightly cold instead of chilled/icey. I tried the buffalo chicken wrap and the chicken and sauce were not mixed well. The interior is very cold and feels empty even with all the chairs and tables they have.

I’m usually not about the flavored roasts, but I love these and they have a great variety! The espresso they use has a deliciously bold flavor, but doesn’t overpower the flavor of the drinks. Nice simple, relaxing vibes inside and super friendly baristas. Great new addition to Forest City!
