We love this place. The food was simply delicious and the service was so good!

Be mindful of its limited space, though. It might not be that convenient for a group larger than 8 people and anyone not slim may feel some physical constraints.

They now have a bigger place near the waterfront, but imho, the original restaurant has its own charm:)

It’s CASH ONLY! But there is a BOFA branch just cross the road, so no need to panic if you suddenly find yourself running low on cash.

In terms of food, we enjoyed the baked clams and monkfish. The price was reasonable and food came fairly fast.

A small hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant. The locals recommended we stop by here for lunch while visiting Boston and it was well worth it! The kitchen is right next to the dining area so you can watch the chef in action. All the dishes were flavorful but I’d say my top dish was the clam pasta. The Monkfish Marsala does have a sweet taste to it and a nice aroma. We definitely came out of there fully stuffed and likely will come back in the future! Be aware that they take cash only.

The daily catch never disappoints our bellies. Great homemade black pasta, shrimp scampi along with monkfish marsala were tasty. Our server/Maria was super nice. Certainly without a doubt of coming back for more bites!

The Daily Catch – North End, Boston
If you’re looking for authentic, unforgettable seafood pasta in Boston, The Daily Catch is a must. I’m a huge fan of their Lobster Fra Diavolo. It’s hands down one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The flavors are bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced, and you can really taste how fresh the ingredients are.
The place itself is small and cozy, with that classic North End charm. You might have to wait for a table, but it’s absolutely worth it. Every bite reminds me why I keep coming back! It’s that good!
Can’t say enough good things about this spot. A true Boston gem!

Tight fit in the restaurant. On cold days you’ll get blasted by a chill anytime someone opens the door.

The food didn’t live to the reputation. It was good but not amazing or memorable and definitely comparable to a lot of other seafood restaurants in boston. Don’t kill yourself waiting in line for this particular restaurant.

Tasty pasta and calamari. Restaurant is very small so youll likely have a line. But they figured it out and our group of 5 was seated in about 20 mins! Very cool seeing the active kitchen in the same room

While visiting from California, we were looking for authentic Italian food and Daily Catch in the North End did not disappoint. The place is tiny, cozy, and full of charm. We waited outside for about 10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth it.

Locals recommended this spot—and they were 100% right. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We started with a side of broccoli sautéed with garlic and oil, which was incredibly flavorful and delicious.

For our mains, we ordered the black ink pasta with clams and the fettuccine with mussels. The bread served at the start was a great touch, and our food arrived piping hot in the pan, clearly made fresh to order. The pasta was perfectly al dente and cooked to perfection. we also ordered calamari- perfect and delicious!

We were so impressed and can’t wait to return to Boston just to eat here again!

A very small restaurant with only about 20 seats.
In November, we started lining up at 10:25 a.m. to get seats for the first seating and managed to be first in line. When the restaurant opened at 11 a.m., there was still one four-person table available, but by the time we finished eating, there was already a line outside. The Clams Casino, Black Pasta Aglio Olio, and Vongole Bianco were all excellent. Just bring enough cash!!

We somehow just walked in on a day that was rainy as hell. Had no idea the place was so popular, we got to enjoy it just us and another table.
The food was superb and came fast. The guys working were super friendly. The menu is short and sweet. Which we all know means they can actually cook the items.
I’ve already sent plenty of people their way!
Heads up CASH ONLY.

Tight in corridor, but the food is explosive with flavor. Simple, high quality ingredients appears to be the recipe here. This is our 4th time here- each time we’ve visited Boston area.

We always order the Black Pasta Aglio Olio and Lobster Fra Diavolo and the results are always tastefully consistent.

Treat yourself, a date, a friend and/or colleague to a wonderful experience at The Daily Catch.
