The CUT Handcrafted Burgers Restaurant – Irvine, CA | OpenTable
Reviews
I’ve visited once before for a Yelp Elite event and both the quality and bold, thoughtful flavors remain unparalleled. We visited on a daddy daughter lunch date on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was at full capacity, so we opted to sit at the bar. Connor took excellent care of us from the minute we sat down to the minute we departed. My daughter enjoyed a kids cheeseburger meal which also included choice of fries or tots, beverage of choice and ice cream. The burger was bigger than I expected for a kid size and so were the tots, so I’d say it’s a good deal at $17. Connor also mixed and created a Blueberry Lavender Lemonade Mocktail that I was told was a popular drink and it was also a hit with my daughter. I wanted to order the smash burger like I did during my previous visit but was told it’s not offered during brunch. This gave me the opportunity to try a new burger so I went with the OG and it didn’t disappoint. I washed my meal down with a pint of creamy amber ale from Stereo Brewing. Yet another enjoyable handcrafted meal at The Cut in Irvine!
We started with a few appetizers… the Poutine was good, but the Honey Sriracha wings and the Fried Mozzarella were the standouts. However, the real stars here are the burgers. We had the Double Smash and the Truffle & Brie. They use high quality ingredients and cook everything to the perfect temperature.
The vibe is a cool, modern upscale burger spot with a bar, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our meal. It’s a great find in Irvine and definitely worth the stop!
My server Nick was friendly and fast with service.
I ordered the double smash burger, the burger was juicy and crisp. Grilled onions were flavorful.
On the downside, the menu is quite limited if you don’t want a burger or fries, and there aren’t many tables. The service was friendly, although our waiter did mix up the orders. By 5 PM the place was completely full, so it’s clearly popular.
Overall, it’s a good spot, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
There’s not much to say… the quality here is really high — and yes, you pay for it.
Beer and meat, not just the cuts but also the selection.
A truly top-level spot for anyone looking for a signature burger.
