Voted the Best Ice Cream in Illinois in 2015! My 5/5 Rating would have to agree.
A friend recommended Jarling’s and it has been on my list for awhile. They have only two locations; Danville, IL and Champaign, IL. I am usually never around these areas, so it has taken me awhile for my travels to take me near Jarlings… and good gosh, it was worth the drive!
I have mostly visited ‘ice cream’ shacks but this one seems to use custard in their ice cream. Not sure what that entails, but good god, was this ice cream fantastic. Easily places in the Top 5 of my Ice Cream list. If you love ice cream, you owe it to yourself (and your family… and friends) to try this place!

It’s definitely the best reason to go to The Custard Cup. Owned by a new owner, but everything is the same. Awesome custard and service. Very popular place. It was recommended to try the lemon custard with cold chocolate on top. Oh my goodness…was amazing.

A family favorite for many generations. I grew up coming here with my parents, my mom grew up coming here and now we are glad to share this with amazing ice cream spot with my daughter. Delicious custard, amazing service, and a cute picnic area. We will forever keep coming back!

Really enjoyed the custard. Didn’t care for ordering through the little window near the drive through, or having to pay cash because the machine was down. But I had a SnowStorm and it was very good.

Under new ownership. Same great choices. Lemon custard was delicious, cold fudge sundae is always amazing, and fountain green river to drink. All the faves make it worth the trip from Indianapolis. It’s always a stop when it’s in season.
