Food came out hot and fresh ! We were given an appetizer and complimentary water which is always nice. They were very attentive and service was quick. The naan bread is a great serving for the price and you’ll def come out full from the entree servings as well. Great place, very cute inside

Finally decided to visit the curry house and it was a 10/10. The waiter recommended the Rogan josh with the butter nan. The goat was tender and the sauce was to die for. I also ordered the chicken lollipops as an appetizer. They were so flavorful. Finally the mango lassi was a great way to finish the meal.

I’ve eaten here before but wow has the flavor and quality gone steadily downhill. My father ordered some chicken. Biryani, garlic naan and butter chicken and this was some of the WORST butter chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken was so dry and literally just cubed flavorless pieces thrown in an underwhelming flavorless tomato sauce. It tasted more like a bisque which is NOT how butter chicken should taste. Awful
The naan? Laughable!! It was roti masquerading as naan. If I wanted roti I would’ve ordered roti. Pics attached.
The Biryani was a 4/10. Better than the rest of whatever the hell this food is pretending to be. Awful, I’m genuinely shocked because I don’t remember it being this bad, ever. Worst part 2 items and a naan for $50! I’d rather travel the hour and eat actual edible food at Agas. This was a waste, I’m genuinely shocked.

We had been coming to The Curry House for several years because of the delicious food, preparation and authenticity. We went in on last Friday and the place was practically empty except for a birthday celebration. The service was fine ( our waiter was kind and helpful) but the menu offerings(variety) and food preparation has changed. The first thing you noticed is, the new menu has prices scratched through with black marker. The prices are cheaper, but the menu gives a cheap feel to the restaurant by striking out prices with a marker. Most importantly, the food has changed. We ordered lamb Rogan Josh and it tasted as though the lamb was added to the sauce instead of being cooked in the sauce. Also, the tomato based sauce tastes as if it was a Jared tomato sauce that was pre seasoned and the Indian spices added. It was more of a tomato sauce dish than a tomato gravy stewed dish as before. The spices did not have a chance to marry with the dish. Also the lamb was not as tender as in past times. I did notice the sauce tasted better after a day in my fridge. Indian food is special. It cannot be rushed or thrown together. The seasoning needs time to bloom and the protein needs to lend its flavor to the dish sauce. We also had a chicken( boneless)dish with thick coconut sauce. Same thing. It tasted like the sauce was just poured over the chicken or the chicken was added to the sauce before serving. I am used to Indian food. I have had it from my friends homes and from various styles of Indian restaurants. I liked it at “The Curry House” because it was consistently good and tasted most like what you would get from an Indian Auntie or what I had eaten from my Indian friends. I hope this is not the new direction the restaurant is deciding to go. It would be unfortunate.

I recently dined at The Curry House, and it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful meal.
The menu boasts a wide variety of dishes, showcasing authentic flavors from various regions. I ordered lamb biryani and chicken curry, both of which were cooked to perfection. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of spice, while the lamb vindaloo delivered a satisfying kick that left my taste buds tingling.
Service was attentive without being intrusive, and my server was knowledgeable about the dishes, providing helpful recommendations.
Overall, The Curry House is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommended!

We attended The Curry House on 6 February 2026 for dinner. We’ve been attending the Curry House for about 8 to 10 years, and over that time have seen quite a few changes in front of the house staff, and, we assume, kitchen personnel as well. The quality of the food has always remained high until recently.
This time, we noticed the menu has been significantly reduced, but still has typical offering for an American Indian restaurant. Although the food was good, it seemed amateurish. We ordered the Samosa Chat for an appetizer. Basically, its crushed vegetable samosas toped with a combination of sauces, diced vegetables, chickpeas and a shredded cheese. It was a nice presentation. Kind or reminded us of an Indian version of Mexican nachos. It was an interesting combination and we might order it one more time but it is far from a favorite item. I think we would have preferred the dumplings, but they were unavailable; crossed out with a marker on the menu.
For our entree, we had Rogan Josh w/lamb and Korma w/chicken, each with “mild” spice level. Again, nicely presented, but the flavors left something to be desired. Not quite “authentic” or deeply flavored. It was almost like they picked sauce number 3 and added a protein. Although the meats were tender and well prepared, neither the lamb or chicken were I’m imbued with the flavors of the sauce. Spice level was more “no spice” than “mild spice”. Especially the Korma.
Service was great. Everyone was friendly, helpful and concerned about our experience. Love the staff.
Although we are American, we have a long history with local Indian cuisine. 25 years attending early 2000s Bombay Brasserie and Shiva, to family dining like Mogul, until it’s closing, similar attending more formal establishments Khyber North Indian Grill, and, what may be called nouveau gormet, in the form of Indika or Pondicheri.
Long story short, the dining experience at The Curry House has been better in the past. We hope it improves as we need more good too great Indian cuisine in the Humble area.

I had seen this place come across my feed on social media and happened to be in the area the other day and checked it out. SUCH good food. Very casual inside which is nice. I ordered the Dal, Samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Cheesy Garlic Naan, and tiramisu dessert. Everything I had was amazing, but I couldn’t get over how good the naan was. I Will definitely recommend to anyone searching for good Indian food.

The food was delicious! I overate, and now I’m ready for a nap! I tried everything at the buffet except the goat curry, since I don’t like goat meat. The staff was very friendly, and so was the manager, Sooraj. The buffet is $18 Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm. You can’t beat this price considering the amount of food and how tasty everything is. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back!
