The bad:
Hubby’s Avocado toast – Avocado tasted not ripe, eggs were medium when he asked for them over easy.
My Greek omelette – based on pics I ordered home fries extra crispy for them to come out the right crisp level. There was more spinach on hubby’s avo toast than in my Greek omelette, which was just sauteed mushrooms and feta wrapped in a big scrambled egg.
For both our meals, the bread tasted like processed junk even tho it was wheat/”hearty”
We had high hopes for this place based on the better reviews, but were disappointed, esp for the price. Will not come back as there are better choices in the area.
⭐️ the atmosphere is small-town diner, quaint and comfortable. The waitress was attentive and came by several times to check on us although busy. They have an expansive menu with something for everyone!
Pictured is the Rocky Mountain eggs benedict on an English muffin. It was still very good but I’ve also definitely had better benedicts> the English muffin was VERY thin (which maybe is a plus for some people!) and I did end up adding some salt and pepper to it even with the hollandaise sauce. They accidentally forgot the mushrooms and tomatoes for the top but so did I! They did bring the other toppings out separately for me when they realized.
typical for a breakfast stop if not even a bit more budget-friendly for some still good food, the Benedict was ~$13
I was glad we tried this breakfast stop, I’m not sure if I would go out of my way to go again but for a laid-back diner experience it was nice.
We had the combo breakfast platter; eggs, good quality bacon and sausage patties with french toasts.
Overall, better than your average local breakfast spot.
I have visited this location several more times since my original visit. I reduced the review down to four stars instead of five. This place is inconsistent. Sometimes the French toast is amazing and other times it’s just okay. I tried a omelette and I wasn’t really happy with it. The omelet was overcooked and the hash browns were way overcooked.
Original review:
The restaurant is right next to the Walmart.
I strongly recommend the French toast.
The waiter was very polite and attentive.
I will definitely go back to this restaurant so I can try other dishes. Hopefully the other menu items are as good as the French toast.
