Cute little coffee shop. They only have outdoor seating. You’re able to order food and coffee, tea, and more whatever your preferred beverage is. The lady takes your order on a tablet outside the driveway she was a delight, maybe offer her one of those heat lamps while she is taking orders poor girl was freezing. I would have given a 5 star review if there was a little more friendly interaction and conversation at the window, but I understand the busy time, Wonderful place overall.

This place deserves every good review it has. They bring it for Halloween!

Also, they are super efficient. There’s a big, easy-to-read menu board front and center of your windshield. No leaning over for passengers. Then, if there’s a line, someone comes out and takes your order, you pay them directly, and then you just pull up and take your order. Just like In-n-Out.

The food looked good, but we just wanted coffee, which definitely ticks all of the boxes. Just a couple of mochas, and they had a rich, chocolate flavour, but were just barely sweet.

My favorite detail was that almost no chocolate solids settled in my drink, even 30 minutes later. It means they take the time to really emulsify the milk and the chocolate. Also, perfect drinking temperature.

I see why this place has become a local staple.

On our way to the Kingston ferry stopped by for breakfast and coffee. They had gluten free bagels making it convenient for my gluten free girlfriend. Although I had ordered a cheese bagel, my order came with an English muffin. It was good although I had wished I had my cheese bagel instead. Otherwise I’d recommend for anyone in a hurry or need of breakfast before their journey to the east of Kingston.

$12 for this deflated ham and cheese croissant???? lol never again. This was so small. Was enough for a toddler. Not impressed at all.

This was my first time here and the staff was super nice and attentive even though they were busy! The food was better than I was expecting and the price was totally fair. Thank you Mark for the great service, Keith Smith CB

I’ve been waiting on leaving a review giving this place a grace period but nothing has changed over the last year it’s only getting worse. The attitudes of staff is just super subpar and rude, the food isn’t like it used to be. Orders don’t come out correctly, they rush every order and still expect tips with terrible services.

A must eat in Kingston. Had a southwest salad. Sevice and food very good. Quality of chicken could have been better. But priced right. This is my second time and I love their coffee and chicken melt. So definitely going back.

We came here after the ferry crossing with a small appetite for lunch and without any great expectations. In the end we were very pleasantly surprised; we have rarely eaten such good sandwiches. Highly recommended!

Starbucks WHO?! As a “tourist,” you just can’t beat Washington Coffee stand coffee and The Cup and Muffin is no different. I decided to try the ham and cheese croissant and was surprised by the thickness of the ham slices and how filling the sandwich was for breakfast. Although the price was a bit high, the quality of the food and coffee made it worth the extra cost. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop and will be back for sure when in town!

The Cup and Muffin is definitely going to be a new regular spot for us new-to-towners. I was highly impressed by their service and high quality food and drinks. We ate in the outdoor seating area because it’s such a beautiful spot. But they also have a drive-through window which was moving fairly rapidly. This place seems to run like a well-oiled machine with workers knowing some people’s orders the moment they arrived. They were not only efficient but kind and amiable.

They have several gluten free options including what we got: the breakfast sandwich on a gluten free bagel. I will need to ask where they got their bagels from because they are delicious, chewy, and soft. I also got a London fog which was perfectly sweetened and my partner got a mocha that was amazing! Perfectly brewed and not overly chocolatey. Honestly perfect breakfast.
