My daughter bought me a gluten free cupcake today for Mother’s Day. I can honestly say that was the best cupcake of my life. Both my daughter and her boyfriend raved about the regular cupcakes so I was happy to try a gluten free one. Wow is all I can say!!!

These were worth the money until they got greedy and started skimping on the frosting I mean these are not cheap, but to cut on product all the while expanding the store size is like giving the middle finger and the last couple months the cake on the cup cake hasn’t always been fresh either, maybe frozen ♂️ I don’t know but the quality is not there like when they first opened. And when they run a special of the month it’s unacceptable not to have them on hand?Now there is “Nothing bunt cake” up the road and they are new but fresh is a guarantee . I hope the cup gets their act back together because the next time will be the last for me if the frosting is skimpy then they can keep it and I will gladly pay for better down the road.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We drove over an hour to find a bakery for birthday treats and The Cup had exactly what we were looking for. Everything looked delicious! Highly recommended this establishment.

Cupcakes are good but the management is terrible. The workers are great but the person who actually owns the place has terrible self-regulation; and terrible work-relations with the staff. Keep your ears out at The Cup; and please, please, speak up if you are witnessing mistreatment like this. Catch me at Nothing Bunt Cakes next time, not this place.

I have been here twice so far and have loved it both times! The cupcakes are absolutely delicious and beautiful. The inside of this restaurant is so cozy and cute! There was practically no wait at all, because the cupcakes are pre-prepared. This doesn’t make them any less delicious, though. They also sell a vegan cupcake, and full sized cakes. Overall an amazing little place, and they have a discount for SIUe students. Definitely would visit again!

We had cupcakes and a top tier cake from The Cup at our wedding in 2019. The Cup staff were easy to work with and they did such an amazing job setting up the cake display. The cupcakes were a hit and we didn’t have to hire anybody to cut and serve a cake like you would if you had a traditional wedding cake (another bonus of having cupcakes). The hardest part was deciding which flavors we wanted!
