⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Our experience at The Cue during Restaurant Week was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, Samantha and Maddie provided exceptional service, ensuring our dining experience was unforgettable. We indulged in the corn chowder, burnt ends, bbq pork barbecue sampler, and the brisket, and let me tell you, the portions were incredibly generous – we had leftovers for days! Every bite was bursting with flavor, from the tender brisket to the mouthwatering cornbread and desserts.
The craft ciders and cocktails were the perfect accompaniment to our meal, and don’t even get me started on their signature BBQ sauces – they were so good, we were tempted to drink them!
The atmosphere was lively, and we even ran into some friends, making the evening even more enjoyable. But what truly set The Cue apart was the impeccable service provided by Samantha and Maddie. We came here because we were in the mood for barbecue. I saw good reviews from the one located in Danbury. This one is closer to where I live. It’s located where Cool Hand Duke’s used to be. Parking available on the street or a short walk from the lot on Railroad Street. You can also park on Main Street and walk down the hill. They take reservations, but we didn’t need them that night. There’s an upstairs and downstairs. There’s also seating at the upstairs bar. There’s a tv at the bar for sporting events and music playing in the background. The staff was very friendly and kept checking on us. We did wait a long time after we placed our order. The positive is that they give you cornbread and soft butter as a starter.
The food was very good. I got The Five Pork Styles so I could try a little of everything. All of the sauces were delicious. I’m usually not a huge fan of ribs, but these were very tasty. The meat came off the bone easily. Really good pulled pork also. My least favorite was the sausage which was just OK. Everything else on the plate was great. I also sampled some of my wife’s manchego bacon, french fries. Fresh made and fried nicely. Lots of flavor in the sauce that was on them. Overall a really good experience. I will definitely come back to try some other items.

We were a bit skeptical as we haven’t had any luck with restaurants that had previously been in the location but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The blackened shrimp is the best I’ve ever had in my life! I really love shrimp and this one was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked.
My husband really enjoyed their ribs, chicken, and brisket. The macaroni and cheese was amazing, as well as the collard greens.

OMG – The amount of food was mind blowing! My wife & I actually had SIX dinners though we ordered two!! OK, not a big deal you might say? Crazy big deal because the food was outstanding! The wings were perfect (the ghost pepper black cherry is awesome & has HEAT!!), the brisket was wonderfully melt-in-your mouth wet, the pork belly – gigantic! The ribs were just perfect. Manchego fries, with bacon? You’re kidding! No – they’re real and you need them!!!! Drinks were solid with a decent spirits collection. Apparently, the Danbury location has a curated bourbon collection. Need to go there next! Staff was great and the cheesecake did not disappoint – even though we were on the verge of exploding!

Food and service couldn’t have been better. We’re still talking about how great the meats were. We got the “Table for 4” which was more than enough for 3 hungry adults. We left with a bunch of leftovers. Hostess/manager really ran the place well and Sam our waitress on top of things.

We had nachos with brisket and baked Brie as appetizers with our cocktails. They were all delicious!
We had a great selection of mains and it was all great. 3 of us got the 5 way pork dish and were not disappointed.
Maddy took good care of us! We appreciate good servers and it’s great when they in turn appreciate good customers.
They did run out of cornbread which was a bummer because we did get some, and it was excellent! Would definitely miss it if they didn’t have it when we went back.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Service is very good, receptive, kind and thoughtful; the hostess and the waitress did a great job with our group requests. Portions are very generous. Our kids ordered their kids meals and everything was properly cooked with good flavor and came quickly to solve their hunger! The adults, we ordered the brisket sandwich which was cooked to perfection, baby back ribs were good (I must recognize they could have been left a few more minutes to be a bit more tender but they were ok) and the sides were spectacular (manchego truffled mac n cheese, broiled veggies and blackened cauliflower). Portions were super generous so we brought home half of it. We’ll definitely come back.

So excited that The Cue opened in NM. Some of us had been to their resturant in Danbury several times and loved it. We were all very disappointed in the NM location. We arrived at 6:30p. We had reservations and were seated at a very small table for 4 people. At best it would be a good table for 3. The server took out drink order. Drinks came right away and were very good. We were then told that they were out of their Sausage and had no beans. OK, not a real problem. We ordered the stuffed clams special and an order of Nachos with pulled pork.
The apps came in a timely fashion. The stuffed clams were hot and good. The nachos on the other hand were a waste of money. Bunch of stale nacho chips with cold pulled pork on top. A tablespoon of sourcream, guacamole and salsa was served with it. Terrible.
We did not get our entrees till 8pm.
That was after we asked our server 2x where were our dinners.
When we finally were served our entrees, they were all cold! The only thing that was hot was the Mac & Cheese. The flavors of the ribs, brisket, chicken and pulled pork were very good but COLD! Since we were already there for 1.5 hrs. before we got our main entrees nobody wanted to send them back. We got boxes and sauces to go and will heat everything up and enjoy our meals at home.
For the price we paid, it was so very disappointing. Not sure we will go back to The Cue in New.Milford

The cue in New Milford in amazing. The food is great but most importantly, it’s the atmosphere and the service. A super special shout out to Maddy. The nicest, most knowledgeable server/bartender you could ask for. Her recommendations are spot on! The cue is fortunate to have someone like Maddy working there. I highly recommend the Cue and make sure you ask for Maddy!!
