Atmosphere & Service
The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming—the kind of place where you want to linger with a warm drink. The staff is super friendly and attentive, which really adds to the neighborhood charm of the shop.
Menu Highlights
The crumpets here are fantastic. We particularly enjoyed:
• Pesto Tomato Crumpet: A savory delight with fresh flavors.
• Rob’s Favorite Crumpet: A perfectly balanced combination that we keep coming back for.
• Maple Butter Crumpet: Simple, sweet, and the ultimate comfort food.
Final Verdict
Whether you are a local or just passing through Edmonds, The Crumpet Shop is a must-visit for a unique and delicious breakfast or snack. Highly recommended for the great food and the warm, friendly service!
The bubbly and attentive barista quickly took my order and I sat myself at a table. In only a few minutes my order was ready. The “Vermont” crumpet had a moist fluffy interior and a perfectly crispy exterior. Paired with one of the best lattes i’ve had in a long time. The whole experience was delightful! I can’t wait to come back with friends!
But the new Edmonds branch? Total game-changer. Same delicious crumpets we love, but now in a super spacious, calm, dog-friendly spot where you don’t have to battle Pike Place crowds or perch on the street. Plus, it’s so much closer to our home which basically means more crumpet runs in my future. Scones, jam, peace, and crumpets = happiness.
Unfortunately, it gets really crowded and there’s only three tables hard to find a seat inside. There are no heaters on the patio outside. It’s a shared space between a lot of businesses, but they would probably do well to get some and you can see into the kitchen space with all the carts and rack racks which some people like I’m not one of those people.
