The Crumb Factory – Bakery & Cafe opened its doors in the Fall of 2021 to provide the city of St. Petersburg the first artisanal bakery and cafe of its kind. We offer a comfortable space to not only enjoy fresh baked goods but to gather with friends and family in a clean and uplifting environment. Order a freshly brewed cup of coffee with a decadent pastry and pull up a seat at our table.

I’m not sure if I have the words to express how great this place is. I fear that everyone will find out and they’ll sell out of things faster but I can’t gate keep. I’m in love with literally everything I’ve ordered. Everything is made with love and is so well made and the flavors are so balanced. Coffee is amazing. Bread is amazing. Every sandwich is insanely good. I love this place so much.

This place has a modern industrial vibe with a bustling environment. The live plants are a really nice addition. I really appreciate how they feature local artists and even have some of their art for sale. The food selection was similar to any bakery/cafe but the presentation was better than a chain place. My eggs were served steaming in a hot skillet with toasted sourdough bread that was pre-butter! The berries and cheese danish that I ordered to go was beautiful. I just had to taste it before leaving. It was layers of crusty light danish with a small amount of cheese but plenty berries. It was not too sweet but traditional danish usual aren’t. I would definitely recommend trying this cafe. I’ll be back if I’m in the area.

The Crumb Factory is absolutely delicious! I was vacationing in FL all the way from WI for 3 days and I came here twice for breakfast. The food is so fresh and the employees were very friendly. It was nice to be able to see in the kitchen to watch the process and also how clean the kitchen was! I’m a sourdough baker and I will say this place is totally worth every penny and distance you’d have to drive. Thank you The Crumb Factory for baking fresh delicious bread and treats! Also, the cold brew was outstanding!

Cute spot for sure and good prices. We were surprised how much food came with the flatbread and it was a good thick crust that tasted like homemade dough and tasted good. The bread pudding however was godly. So good. So big. So good.

This is an absolutely AMAZING Artisan Bakery that offers everything made from scratch. We ordered a breakfast Ruben. The bread was made here. It was so delicious! It had flavor bursts of eggs, cheese, seasoned sauerkraut, and, of course, a heaping pile of corned beef. The pastries we ordered were the sweet and savory Cruffins. Every bite had enough of the filling, which was incredible! Seating here is small or lagre tables. They offer cafeteria style service, which means order at the counter and pick up when it’s ready and seat yourself. They have soft music playing, too, which increases the ambiance. There is a separate window for to-go orders. Great customer service, delicious breakfast, and reasonable prices make this bakery and cafe AMAZING!!! Plus, seeing the smile on my gorgeous husband’s face is priceless!

It’s awesome to have another great foodie spot on the SW side of St. Pete. Everything we have had has been amazing – their cruffins, danish with fresh fruit, coffee cake, croissant quiches, drip coffee, ham egg & cheese on sourdough sammies and poached eggs over arugala with roasted veggies & pastrami to name a few. Parking is tight but manageable. Can be loud if there’s a crowd. Love being able to see into the kitchen where they make the magic happen!

The place is very cute. I had the chicken salad sandwich pictured. It was fine, didn’t wow me, but fine. The sourdough bread was just ok. The chocolate filled pastries looked amazing, but I didn’t try them. If I could I would give 3.5 stars. I’ll be back to try some other things and update this.

Pastries are excellent but you may consider purchasing your bread elsewhere. Too many holes at $8 a loaf. This has happened on several occasions. They can do better than this.
