The “Dorothy” fun, friendly, welcoming vibe was fabulous. Thank you for the energetic, delish food and wonderful beer & cider pit stop in Coeur D’alene. A MUST local STOP in the area. Thank you for the angelic good times.

outstanding across the board. came in at opening on a quiet summer Wednesday morning. Shannon was wonderful, warm, and engaging. Full-sized progress flag on the side of the fridge let me know this was a place that would welcome everyone.
Service was top-notch, and the food was outstanding. Had a full sampling of the pub menu and everything was delicious. If you’re in CdA and want some proper British grub, don’t miss this place.

A proper English/Irish pub. They serve a large variety of beer on tap and in the bottle. The food is delicious and very authentic, down to the Taddy Egg, Bangers n Mash and the Sticky Toffee. The atmosphere is terrific, the staff is friendly and welcoming. They even have games to play and Tuesday Trivia night. I highly recommend a visit to the Crown and Thistle pub.

The most delicious hand pie, banger with mash, sausage roll and pudding on the planet! I wished I had a bigger appetite , cause I wanted to try every menu item. My tastebuds were curious and I knew I would delight in every bite!!! This restaurant should be classed as Michelin, the quality of these handmade English dishes is off the charts!!!! We sat in one of their three cozies. I wish all restaurants offered these private resting places to enjoy a dinner out! We’ll be back next year, on our yearly pilgrimage to Coeur De’Alene!

A fantastic authentic British and Irish pub with loads of character and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. The place feels warm and lived-in, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is classic pub comfort done right, with generous portions and great flavour. Pair that with a perfectly poured pint and you’ve got a proper spot for a relaxed drink or a hearty meal. A real gem that captures the true spirit of a great pub.

This place is good and the inside is great. Lots of fun things to see. I loved the fish and chips. I recommend the Haddock. They have all the good condiments too. Brown sauce and all. Just remember to order at the bar but they will bring your food out to you. If you ask they will separate the chip from the fish and you get plenty to share with a friend. The scotch eggs are made with gluten free panko so they are safe and clean for celiac.

A real hidden gem in Coeur D’Alene! The decor in this place is seriously next level. This is a true Irish pub, with legit Guinness pours. I had a conversation with a local at the bar who had been to many pubs in Ireland, and confirmed this place was as legit as it gets.
I also order the Guinness short rib pie and it was really amazing. The crust was perfectly crispy and the filling was meaty, juicy, and packed with flavor. I hope I can come back soon for some bangers and mash!

Very nice pub, food and service were great. The staff gave excellent recommendations. The fish and chips were nice and crispy. I totally stole the mushy peas from my companion, they were excellent! The pie was seasoned just right, the top a perfect flaky crust. The cider and stout, also recommendations, hit the spot on a warm day. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Moved to CDA in April 2024. I am originally from England. Moved to USA 13 years ago. Now, when I say this is my little slice of heaven, I mean it. It brings all the comforts of my local pub i used to run back in the UK. I feel like I am home. From the food to the decor, it’s like I’m transported right back to my pub. From the fish n chips to the scotch egg, the sausage rolls, the beer battered sausage, and so much more, you are sure to find an English classic you will love. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding is beyond amazing. I HIGHLY recommend you stop in for a meal. This is as close to real English comfort food I have found in 13 years of my travels around the USA.
