This is your basic Family Café. The interior is nothing remarkable. The food was good. I had the roast beef dinner. The roast beef was tender and moist. The mashed potatoes were made from real potatoes not reconstituted and very good. The brown gravy was just your basic gravy. The only part of the meal that didn’t impress was the mixed vegetables. They were clearly canned and very soft.
I ended the meal with pumpkin pie. It wasn’t home made but it was a quality store bought pumpkin pie.
I would come here again if I just wanted a good lunch or dinner because I didn’t want to cook. I wouldn’t come here for a special occasion.

My family and I had a great experience at The Crossroads. This is a hidden gem for all the travellers in the ON-7 that are sick of only having fastfood options. The food was really good and affordable, with very generous portions (if you don’t eat much, the dinner entrees can definetly be shared between 2 people). The atmosphere was very cozy and the service was very welcoming and friendly (especially the young lady that served us on the Saturday). The space and the bathrooms were clean and well kept. Definetly coming back there in the next opportunity.

This restaurant is really nice to have a visit and eat. The wait staff are really great. We eat breakfast here with family every Wednesday. They are always so accomidating to a small group. It could be painted to refresh the decor. And a steam super clean would be lovely. What brings us back is the food, the prices, and of course the wait staff. This is a place where being a regular is welcomed. Great place.

Like a small suggestion, the bun for the burger not my favorite. But the burger meat VERY GOOD.

Had the hungry man breakfast! So delicious and served hot and fresh , got the pancakes before the rest so was able to eat everything while it was still hot. Coffee was amazing and replenished often. Even the butter wasn’t so hard I could easily spread it . Perfection!

Service was ok , the one woman that walked with a little limp had some inappropriate words while talking to another staff member about someone else (somethings shouldn’t be said in front of customers) . The worst part was , their washrooms were not in order(not working ) frozen pipes . Technically they can not operate a restaurant without proper working washrooms .
Food was very good though. I will not be returning till the bathrooms are fixed . All patrons that were told about the issue was kinda shocked they were still operating.

I ordered the Hungry Man’s Breakfast, which included one pancake, 3 eggs, home fries, sausage (or bacon or ham), toast, and coffee.
It was the first restaurant ever that brought the pancake before the eggs… which was always a pet peeve of mine.
Usually everything arrives together and by the time you get to either the pancake or eggs (the second one you eat) it is cold.
The meal was amazing and the service was excellent.
The owner, Ashley, took our order and served us and was very friendly.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Havelock area.

This is one of our favorite family restaurants. We eat here almost every chance we get and we can tell that it’s very popular with people in the area. The food is delicious. Our favorites are the roast beef dinner and fish and chips. Be sure to say yes to extra gravy on the side – it’s delicious.
The building is not fancy but they’ve done some work recently on updating the bathrooms which are consistently clean.
The staff is friendly and service is efficient. They are usually open on holidays.
If you are traveling on Hgwy 7, this is a great placeto stop!
