Reviews
I stopped by The Crooked Duck and had a really solid experience overall.
What We Ordered
Flat Iron Steak & Eggs
(Steak and eggs with caramelized onions, breakfast potatoes, and toast)
Corned Beef Hash & Eggs
(Served with breakfast potatoes and toast)
Banana Nut Muffin
The Food
The banana nut muffin was absolutely delicious and easily my favorite item of the meal — moist, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The steak, eggs, and potatoes were okay overall. My only issue was that the steak and potatoes were a bit too salty for my taste. That said, the pieces of steak that weren’t overly salty were actually really good and flavorful, so it wasn’t a total miss.
Atmosphere & Service
This is a small restaurant with amazing decor and a great vibe. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable.
Customer service was excellent, and the owner was super cool and friendly, which really added to the experience.
Overall Experience
Good food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. With a little less salt on some of the dishes, this place would be even better. I’d definitely come back and try more items.
The other order was a bacon burger, without cheese, with sweet potatoes fries. I asked for mayo and ketchup packets but I didn’t receive either. The burger was good, I could have used more condiments. The egg breakfast needed eggs and jam. I did call the restaurant to tell them about the issues. However, since we ordered through door dash nothing could be done. I would only eat here again if I was able to visit the restaurant in person. I loved the drawings on the containers that was a very cute touch.
The food came in large quantities. Mother in law ordered their Texas French toast. She was shocked to see 5 actual size pieces of French toast that tasted as good as they looked. My wife ordered the Kentucky biscuit and gravy. She was very happy with her choice. Finally I ordered the wet burrito it was very hefty and filling. Being a big man I appreciate a filling breakfast.
Ps. The dogs had a 3 eggs scramble with potatoes. They also enjoyed their meal!

Slightly outdated but well maintained! I love the decor and the place is clean and makes me feel safe to dine here.

I love the team work! Everyone here works together to ensure the customers are happy. My server and the gentleman who works in the back both took great care of me and made sure I was happy and satisfied during my dining experience.

To be fair I have only tried the avocado toast but it was literally the BEST avocado toast I have ever had! I love that I received two pieces of toast which most places only provide one slice of toast. I also added an egg which was slightly overcooked but I was okay with the result. I wanted to order the mega mimosa but the server told me that the mimosas were on a special for $5/ea which I definitely took advantage of. I love when servers help you save money! It lets me know they care more about your experience than earning a better tip from you spending more money.
Overall I enjoyed my experience and I will definitely be back and I will recommend this place to many people. Please do yourself a favor and stop by for the amazing service and quality food items.
