The place has a very Santa Cruz vibe and I loved all the old movie posters on the walls. Our server was friendly and brought our drinks and later dinner salad and bread in a reasonable time, but the crepes took an hour from when we got our menus. At The Crepe Place?! They were tasty. But plan accordingly.
I just went for the first time last night and finished my leftovers today, and I want to go back already!
With its unique layout and old wood historic architecture to maneuver through to its quaint seating area and garden patio with live music it’s an experience just in that.
But then…
There is the service and the food! Absolutely spectacular on all levels!
(Well the only minor suggestion would be less salt in the clam chowder)
The friendly and well trained staff was helpful & knowledgeable and the right kind of attentive.
I got a crepe with the meal option and probably ate too much of the delicious warm honey baked bread before the huge crepe plate arrived. The crepe was cooked perfectly as were the mushrooms, chicken, asparagus, and melted cheese. The dill sauce for dipping was exceptional solo and even more so combined with the crepe delight.
I must say it was still fantastic heated up or cold the next day.
I will crave this place and look forward to returning!
The first round we did unexpectedly end up there as a live band was wrapping up. It was not what we were looking for or particularly in the mood for with the sound level and amount of drunk people, but the food and service was well worth it. We will be more aware next time to check the event schedule there next time. I can say it seems they have some very favored bands play there.
Maybe it was a busy or understaffed day.
The food was good, generous portions. We especially liked the warm loaf of bread.
The outdoor patio is relax and nice.
Picture is two crepes for 17 dollars …. By the way, the parking is bad good luck.

Up visiting family and friends hadn’t been here in a couple years and at that time eat at The Crepe Place but too much talk and hugs didn’t enjoy food or dining experience but remember the great service. This time enjoying food atmosphere, having turkey club crepe first time having is different out side of the usual blue berry crepe at home breakfast. Sandwich bread one thing but crepe better taste and the way Crepe Place blends the ingredients wonderfully. Looking about at drinks and food we had look so tremendous good, couldn’t help asking for a taste what family and friends were having.Excellent service on food delivery and drinks well refurbished. the layout of the outdoors made it appealing, peaceful and spacious decorated.
