Had a fabulous breakfast with the hubs. The menu was way better than your typical breakfast place. The service was decent and the location is perfect, with a view of the riverwalk and Fox River. Pricing was a bit high, but you get a lot of food. I was only able to eat about half my skillet.

We went to The Creamery for brunch today.

For drinks, we ordered the Burnt Sugar Old Fashioned and the Creamery Ol’ Fashioned. The Burnt Sugar Old Fashioned is made with Bubba’s Burnt Sugar Whiskey, while the Creamery Ol’ Fashioned uses house-infused chai whiskey. In both cocktails, those flavor profiles were very pronounced—in a good way. Both were well-made and very enjoyable.

For food, we ordered the Waffles with Mixed Berries, the Fried Green BLT, and the Hangover Hash.

The waffles were good and nicely presented, served with a generous amount of berries, house-made jam (which was delicious), whipped cream, and powdered sugar.

The Fried Green BLT unfortunately missed the mark. The fried green tomatoes were extremely oily—so much so that when the first bite was taken, hot oil spilled out and burned the side of my wife’s mouth and face. There was even a noticeable pool of oil left on the plate. The bread-to-filling ratio was also off, with very small pieces of bread, and the tomatoes themselves were tough. Overall, the sandwich was just…blah.

The Hangover Hash was a huge portion of potatoes, bacon, and eggs covered in sausage gravy, and it was really good. The gravy had a noticeable kick to it, so if you’re sensitive to spice, that’s something to keep in mind.

Our server, Azie, was very kind and extremely apologetic when we mentioned the hot oil. She immediately offered to replace the dish, which we declined, and then had it taken off the bill. Her service was excellent.

We would definitely come back to try other items. They’ve been voted “Most Like a Meal” for their Bloody Mary, so that’s absolutely next on the list.

My favorite brunch spot! I always get the biscuits and gravy and it never disappoints. Leslye is almost always my waitress and she’s the sweetest!

What a great breakfast experience! All of the food is prepared with their own special touch. The hint of orange in the waffle was unexpected and so delicious. Never had a better breakfast burrito anywhere and the pork carnitas were mouth watering. Do yourself a favor and make The Creamery your next and best breakfast!

Stopped in after hearing several recommendations from friends. We were not disappointed at all. The food was fantastic. Lots to choose, from unique flavor combos, to classics done very well. This place has something you’ll like, no matter your tastes.
Because it is so good, other people like to eat there too. So, while we didn’t wait for a table, it was packed and bustling.

The Creamery Downtown is worth the wait. I had the Eggs Benedict Flight and it was absolutely on point—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully plated. The service was smooth, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the experience even better. Be prepared for a bit of a wait (we waited about 45 minutes on a Sunday), since it’s walk-in only that day, but the lively, exciting ambience keeps the energy up. No doubt I’ll be back—this place delivers.

Food was good service was good. If it wasn’t so cold today, I probably would have liked it better. There is a full glass wall with a view of the river and we sat right next to it. I am summer it would be beautiful in the summer. But it’s January and really cold today so it was uncomfortably cold sitting there. And the place is tucked back in a little cul-de-sac off Washington. Even though my GPS directed me right to the place, I still couldn’t find it plus there is nowhere to park in the cul-de-sac so I had to drive back k to Washington street, park my car, feed the meter then walk back to the restaurant. I was looking all over the place trying to find a sign or a door standing out in the cold. Finally I looked up and saw the sign. You have to walk up steps toward the river. I didn’t know the was anything back there. I thought it was a parking deck
