My sisters and I stopped for breakfast on Saturday and since we had a furry friend with, sat on the patio. We started with some breakfast mock/cocktails: an apple margarita, apple mule + 5mg Delta 9, and ginger toddy. They were exceptional. Since everything on the menu sounded fantastic, we ordered items to share: Buzzard Breakfast (the best sausage links and toast that have seen the insides of our mouths), Breakfast Burrito (Phenomenal. Chorizo added a kick and the cheese sauce was dynamite), Cider Waffle (Magic in the mouth. Flavorful. Waffles can be dry – this one didn’t even need the syrup), and Breakfast Nachos (The chips were smothered in toppings and didn’t get soggy. What is this sorcery? Love guacamole but Cranky’s guacuss beats it out flavor wise.). Our server, Preslie, was friendly and attentive; customer service was top-notch and the wait for food was only about 20 minutes. Prices are comparable to other establishments. We’ll be back!

First time in and will definitely be coming back to try lunch. Our server Lexi was friendly and quick. The relaxed and laid back setting was great for a quiet breakfast. Cocktails were amazing. The flavor of the food was absolutely amazing.

Stopped here on a whim for dinner. We were actually walking by to go somewhere else and decided to stop here instead. It was actually too warm for us inside and we left but saw the outside patio and came back. We were allowed to select our own table on the patio and were very comfortable and relaxed there. I had the hot ham and cheese and it came with homemade potato chips and apple sauce. All was delicious! My husband had the grilled cheese with bologna, and he was impressed. We had the fried potato salad as an appetizer. He really liked it, but It just wasn’t my cup of tea. The only issue we had was that they were definitely understaffed. When the waiter came to take our order he said that our drinks weren’t out yet because he had to make them. I almost felt guilty for ordering a lemon drop. But it was delish although there was no garnish or offer of sugar. I think this is probably a great place when they are fully staffed. FYI They are one of the few places open on Mondays!

Between the awesome experience provided by the staff (thanks Jared and Tyler) and the exquisite food, this was a PERFECT evening full of food, laughs, and fun. The menu is full of familiar items but elevated in delightful ways. Our chickpea guac (guacuss and chips) was delectable and complemented by house-made crunchy tortilla chips. The papas fritas were crispy and seasoned perfectly with a sauce that brought a nice fresh/light herbal flavor to the party. And the crispy sprouts were just over the top flavorful with the bacon and goat cheese atop sprouts roasted to perfection.

Dessert?! Yes please! Apple streusel cheesecake is what came. Did we have room for it? No. Did we lick the plate clean? YES!

Would love the see the restaurant continue to feature fun and unique menu items from the talented head chef. We will be back, for sure. Maybe we will order fewer apps and have room for an entrée!

We had soup and the house salad. I loved the lemon vinegarete and the crispy crackers. The leek soup was awesome. The server we had was friendly. I want to go back and try more of the items. Oh and the drip coffee was great!

Excellent Sunday brunch experience. Busy restaurant but service was prompt and the food delicious. Enjoyed the pork belly hash and stuffed french toast. Although a new restaurant, the food quality reflects the experienced crew they have in the kitchen.

Didn’t get a picture of the brussel sprouts but the Bloody Mary’s were a good spice level. The pork belly sandwich was delicious and full of flavor. The house made pickles with the sandwich were SO GOOD. Our server was attentive and efficient. Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely go back.

Ate here last night and it was awesome! Cheese curds with lime chipotle ranch to start, I had the meatloaf dinner. The potatoes were real mashed potatoes, great gravy, and fresh beans. My husband had the smash burger and that was also delicious! Our server Austin was kind, attentive, and fun. Great addition to Eau Claire! You can really tell they care about what they do in the kitchen.

Applause!!

A restaurant whose focus is fresh ingredients prepared well. The restaurant recipe for success. Unfortunately a rare thing in the chippewa valley. CB is the old Galloway purchased by a healthcare worker who had a catering business on the side. Clearly the new owners know the keys to success: fresh ingredients, good service with a nice libations menu.

The menu is not large and this is a complement. This is how you keep the ingredients fresh. Fish sandwich was crisp and clean with greens and pickled veg. A unique “cheese ball” starter which was recommended and really hit the mark. Herbs, picked veg and nuts balanced richness of house made pimento style cheese.

Front of the house was friendly, helpful and seemed to enjoy working there. Back of house seemed like a well run unit.

I will frequent this spot.

Absolutely delicious! I don’t think I have ever enjoyed a brussel sprout in my life until I had them here and they were amazing. I also got the tempura cheese curds which came with homemade ranch with lots of dill. For my drink, I had Point Brewing’s pistachio nut ale, which was on tap and is one of my favorite beers.

Everyone in my group enjoyed their food, our only complaint was that the photos available online of the menu were not accurate.
