We got to visit this gem back in October 2025, and I’m so glad that we did. The location is easy to find and the atmosphere was nice. The service was fast and friendly. I had the Paella – saffron rice + fresh mussels + chicken + andouille sausage + fish + shrimp and it was phenomenal! My wife had the ‘Oakie Style’ Burger and it was cooked to perfection. It was nice to be treated like locals, with the owner visiting our table to let us know about the upcoming festivities.

Rode sleds up from Lake Namakagon yesterday for lunch. Our group had many dishes. Expectations were high as we’ve been here before. Every single meal was spot on. Chicken pot pie, maple sriracha chicken, paella, and cheese curds to name a few. I’ve had cheese curds all across Wisconsin, these are still the undisputed winner. My chicken was sweet, spicy, and crunchy….full of flavor you won’t find most places. We didn’t get the rosemary fries this trip but know they are amazing as well. Highly recommend!

Unexpectedly super delicious! Both the server and chef were so nice and welcoming. We grabbed lunched from there and had to go back for dinner. A must-have is the chicken pot pie. Wished I could’ve ordered some food to go for the road, but they weren’t opened yet. The husband kept forgetting to order me a pie, wished I would’ve gotten a chance to try it, but I am sure it would be super delicious too. Money well spent here, highly recommended.

Gourmet food for an affordable price along a historic logging road between the Apostles and Superior. This upbeat, positive, and beautifully cozy restaurant along Hwy 13 has far exceeded my foodie expectations. In a single weekend of camping along the Lake nearby I have managed to eat here daily because… they offer a selection of dishes and culinary skill that are just what I deserve.
Rosemary garlic fries? Check.
Beer cheese soup w/ popcorn? Check.
Cuban sandwich? Check.
Fettuccine Alfredo w/ veg? Check.
Seared tuna steak (artistic mouthgasm)??? Chickety Check Check.
Carrot cake? Yuppers. I’m full.

The food is great, I had the coconut curry, others had steak fettuccine and a sandwich, all excellent. The service is very good considering they wre short staffed. But it is always cold in the winter. A little more heat is a simple thing to do but makes a huge difference in being comfortable and enjoying your meal.

Hands down the best food in the area. What a hidden gem this place is! We had driven by many times when we visit the area but had never stopped until now. If you’re a cheese curd fanatic like we are, the cheese curds here are some of the best ones you’ll ever have. Not to mention the Smokey ranch sauce they come with is absolutely amazing. I also ordered the pot pie which is normally something I wouldn’t order when out to eat, but previous google reviews convinced me to give it a try. It was outstanding! The crust was flaky and the inside was creamy and delicious! My husband ordered the Alfredo with steak and also said it was amazing. The staff were all great and also contribute to what a wonderful establishment this is! We will certainly be back every time we are in the area to enjoy the outstanding food and people that make this a must-stop place! 10/10.

Such a wonderful place to eat. It’s pleasant to sit on the bar or dining room sides. Fast and wonderful service. Just had their Coconut Curry Chicken tonight and it was delicious! Thanks for being a great spot to treat ourselves!
