Love Craftsman American Tavern in Eagle River WI. Today was a flight of beer from Blueberry Train Tribute Brewing in Eagle River, Hughes crawler Stout from Fox River Oshkosh & a Campfire Old Fashioned with Smoked Maple Knob Creek Bourbon with toasted marshmallow and cinnamon. Fish tacos and Mint Smash burger with tots were both excellent as well as our attentive server Susan. Fun & delicious visit

This place has the energy. Such an eclectic experience. The details matter here… which means your drink may take a second, but it’s worth it.
The service at our table was a typical up north service. (Slower than normal.)
There are plenty of games whether you’re waiting for a table or just want to hang.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch based off the “veteran owned” sticker on the window. Our experience was outstanding from the food to waitstaff to bathrooms. Highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for somewhere to eat or hangout.

One of the owners has celiacs so safe for gluten-free with dedicated gf fryer. Knowledge staff as well! I got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich gluten free and it was delicious. There are some vegan and veg options as well. Food is fresh and flavorful. Very nice atmosphere and outdoor area, separate pool table area. A bit slower and more expensive but, worth it if you are not in a rush.

This is our second trip. We highly recommend the Airline chicken (the person who ate it, ate every bit). The pork chop was so tasty (but does deserve a larger plate). The fish fry was not heavily breaded letting the fish shine. The shrimp skewers were seasoned just right. We had those twice.
What really made our night, however, was our server, Courtney. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her excellent service added so much to our dining experience. We highly recommend The Craftsman American Tavern for a great meal and friendly service!

Outstanding lunch. Modern-vibe lunch spot in the heart of Eagle River. Stopped in here based on the good reviews and we weren’t disappointed. From the top notch cocktails to the fresh ingredients in the food, this place knocked it out of the park. Plump, juicy burgers and loaded sandwiches, not to mention the largest portion of cheese curds I’ve ever seen as an appetizer! Excellent service, friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Even a proper shuffleboard available for a bit of fun. Would definitely recommend eating here if you’re in town.

Such a great spot for supper! We popped in on a later Friday afternoon. Everything was amazing. They did say they were understaffed and getting a table might take a minute, we didn’t mind, we were just happy to be there! All of the design and decor added to a welcoming and rustic atmosphere. Once we got seated, it didn’t take more than 5 minutes, we had drinks right away. I had the love, Stella. It was super smooth. The cheese curds with the raspberry sauce was amazing. For supper we both had burgers! Everything was great! Our server was Brittney and she was so kind! I would 100% recommend anybody to go here and grab a bite to eat!

This place has great potential! It’s a beautiful space and the servers were super friendly and kind to us, though they weren’t too subtle about hurrying us out. I get it, it was a Friday night and busy. The drinks and starters were great, especially the blueberry bourbon old fashioned and of course the cheese curds. The burgers were good but nothing super special. I would not recommend the Craftsman burger, as the prime rib was tough and flavorless. I ended up pulling it off. Would have loved to stay and play shuffleboard on a less busy night.

We loved our dinner here as we were passing through Eagle River. Super cool aesthetic and friendliest & most capable wait staff we’ve experienced in quite some time. We ordered two kids meals which came with great portion sizes and the sides of veggies & homemade ranch was huge & cut up super cute. The adults in our group had the lobster roll, logging camp burger, and garlic tots and they were all an 11/10. Logging camp burger was the best burger we’ve ever had. Highly recommend – we will be back!
