The best French toast I’ve ever had! The menu is huge, offering so many great options, and the restaurant itself has a cozy, charming atmosphere. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive. Our first visit was fantastic. Definitely a must-visit for breakfast lovers!

When you walk in the place almost has a diner feel to it. No frills nothing fancy just good homestyle cooked food.This place has amazing breakfast. Very reasonable prices and nice portion sizes. The only negative about the food was the orange juice tasted like tang or some other cheap concentrate. The service was moderate. The food came out slow, not to the point where I wanted to walk out, but it was still about 25 minutes after we ordered. The server was very nice and attentive. Gave great suggestions and kept our drinks refreshed. I will be back to enjoy another breakfast soon!

This place is incredible – family owned and operated. EVERYTHING is made in house – this is a picture of the best Rueben in the city of Pittsburgh. Everything is made fresh. The owners are incredible and deeply care about every guest they serve. The food is really made with love from the owners themselves and they treat you like family. If you’re looking for great food and great company – visit the Cracked Egg!!

Food: lots of breakfast options to choose from w some good seasonal selections. Good price and food. Ordered this time the “release the cracking”, a nice big breakfast to get u going all day.
Atmosphere: family oriented w cozy sitting inside, a bar area, and outside sitting for fresh air or to bring your pet.
Staff: friendly and attentive. You won’t have to wait long for anything. I wanted a couple extra things on my meal and they were very accommodating.
Easy on-street parking but if u can’t park there, there’s a parking lot across the street.

Love this place! You have to try the Tomato Basil soup-it’s the best I’ve ever had. I always get a quart to go when I stop for breakfast.
Portion sizes are great and staff are super friendly!
The only down side is they aren’t open for dinner.

I raaaaaaaarely give a 1 star review, but to be fair this place deserves it. I came here June 7th at 10:40 am. Stood in front of the hostess stand for I kid you not 10 mins before one of the kids behind the bar finally decided to lift his head up and look towards the hostess stand and shout out, “we’ll be with you in a minute.” Clearly it was not one minute or two or three, it was another 5 mins with no one actually coming up to us and asking us how many people we had and possibly giving us a time frame of how long it would take to get a table. Mind you it’s my birthday and I picked this place to stop at on the way from Belle Vernon to Moraine state park, it was right off route 51 and seemed like a legit spot. My goodness was I mistaken. Zero effort to accommodate the guest coming to eat. Zero effort to try and make us feel like we might actually get to sit down. We didn’t even have a chance to give this place a chance. It’s sad but I promise you I will never come back and waste 15 mins of my life and I hope you all reading this choose to do the same, or at least have 30 mins minimum to get greeted…… Smh and add insult to injury, Look what the sign said at their hostess stand………… Hahahahhahahhaha it would be funny if it was a joke, but that sign is actually what you’re going to get………. Smh once again. Have some pride in what you do and hustle. Move. Come on people get with it!!!
