I had a very nice dining experience here. This ain’t fancy eating, this is good eating. I had a starter of mozzarella sticks, they were, well, mozzarella sticks…neither good or bad. My order included a side salad, it was good and plenty to start things off. On to the main course, the seafood pasta. It was simply delicious and a portion big enough for two people. Sweet tea was good and prepared in southern style. My server was excellent. I got there around 4pm and was seated right away. It was getting more crowded as I departed. A locals favorite. I would love to see them add shrimp and grits as a menu item, add some of that Cajun cream sauce in it! $59 with a 25% tip added.

I had to give it a five star for having this restaurant in this area. It was clean and the service was good and they were all super nice. I got the shrimp basket and it was good. It almost seemed like it was baked because nothing was greasy. I was so glad they were not greasy fries! I wasn’t a fan of the batter, but I took it off the shrimp and the shrimp were big delicious shrimp. The coleslaw and cocktail sauce was very fresh. It seemed like it was just made. All in all it was a very positive experience and I will go back.

My family and I (4adults2kids)had super high hopes for this place and had been looking forward to visiting and eating some good seafood. We drove an hour away. But left disappointed. Unfortunately The food was just ok! No seasoning on the seafood boil at all. It was cold and tasted as if it had been sitting for a bit, before brought to us. Our waiter brought our drinks and then food and we didn’t see him again till we paid. He never refilled our drinks, nor come back to check on us. They were not busy at all for a Saturday at 5pm. The only good thing I can say is the gator bites were good, but that’s about it.

A Hidden Gem in Hampton!

We had an incredible experience at The Crabby Café in Hampton, TN! The food was absolutely top-notch — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served hot. Every bite felt like a taste of the coast right in the mountains.

But the highlight of our visit wasn’t just the food — it was the people. After our meal, we stopped by the connected ice cream shop and had the pleasure of talking with Liz. She was an absolute delight — full of personality, fun, and just genuinely amazing. She made the sweet treats even sweeter with her energy and friendly vibe. You can tell she loves what she does, and it makes all the difference.

If you’re anywhere near Hampton, do yourself a favor and stop by The Crabby Café. Great food, even better people, and a little something special that makes you feel like part of the family. We’ll definitely be back!

The Best and I Mean , the best of the best i’ve ever had! we eat a lot of seafood and this is heads above all. Love the new lobster tails 16oz to 20oz. All you can eat crab legs and shrimp is an excellent value. They even have real butter not butter flavored oil. Cost is a little on the higher side but worth every penny. Nothing else anywhere close to this. We eat there about 2 to 3 times a month. It’s a 1 1/2 hour drive but worth it. Go and you won’t be disappointed.

First timers. Very clean. Friendly. Did have to wait longer for our food. Three groups came after us and got their meal before us, don’t know why but we did not complain. Food was good.

Wonderful food great atmosphere. Selection from hamburgers to seafood and steaks. Prices are comparable. I love the clean down home tables and seating. Staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. We accidentally left our debit card and they managed to call us so that we could come back and get it talk about customer service! We will definitely be back.
