We were a large party of 12, and we were seated quickly for Sunday night dinner. Our server Maria immediately took our order for drinks and served them promptly. She was patient taking everyone’s food order. The place was packed but the food didn’t take long to come and the food was served hot. Fresh seafood not too salty and just right. The clam chowder was really good. Maria kept checking in to see if we needed additional food or drinks. She brought us a to go box and bags for any leftovers. The kids enjoyed feeding the baby alligators. The lady selling the alligator food was friendly and shared some fun facts with the kids. There are lots of nice areas for taking pictures and the gift shop has neat items. Overall, it was a great experience.

The atmosphere is awesome! Great family friendly experience. My husband absolutely loved the blue crab sandwich. The rest of us found our food to be okay and a little expensive for what we got. The view is absolutely beautiful! They offer indoor/outdoor dining and both were crazy hot, understandable being at the beach but also noteworthy. The place is huge and very decorative! Lots of statues and even an arcade. Feeding the gators was definitely affordable and our kids loved the experience. Overall, would definitely go back if we visit the area again.

Best place for seafood in Savannah! Every time we visit, we make it a point to go here, our favorite spot. We always order the Captains Sampler Platter without sausage, but we substituted for extra corn. We usually get the serves 2 people, which I added in the photos, but this time we got the serves 4 people. We ate so much! There were sooo many shrimp! Best butter sauce ever, and the service is always great. If you are going down a residential neighborhood and start second guessing that you are going the wrong way, nope, keep going. You will eventually bump into this big restaurant. And it’s right off the water with a great view! You can park on the gravel parking lot for free. 6min from Tybee Island and about 25min from the downtown district.

This place has an awesome atmosphere, great servers and service and above all fabulous food! Shrimp boil is fabulous and the shrimp boil for 1 is probably enough for 2 if you get drinks and apps! Went to Tybee beach and hit this on the way home. Great way to finish the afternoon.

EAT HERE! Our waiter, Dustin, was truly the best! What an awesome conjunction with so much to see! The whole experience was incredible. PHENOMENAL snow country boil! Super large seating areas, inside & outside. Multiple large tables for large families/groups. Even if you aren’t eating, stop here anyway!! The baby alligators were a HUGE hit, especially since we got to feed them! There is an arcade and cute gift shop with rescued birds! By far, one of my favorites for food with entertainment. We will absolutely return & highly recommend!

Neat restaurant with a cool atmosphere! Caroline was our server and did a great job! The food was either so-so or good depending on what you ordered. Not a huge selection to choose from but I found something to eat. I ended up ordering the pork sandwich with an order of potato salad. The pork was chopped and dry. Didn’t like the two sauces to choose from. My husband ordered a dozen of oysters on the half shell which were a nice size and tasty.

First time visitor to the Crab Shack – Tybee Island and came away with VERY positive feelings about this place! My wife had BBQ Beef Brisket ion Texas Toast, with an ear of corn and slaw. I had the Shrimp and Deviled Crab Plate (pic.) Rhonda was our server, and she was handling MANY other tables. She was running around the place, and taking care of everyone. When she would stop at our table, she treated us like we were her most important customers. Restrooms were clean, and this is very important to those of us that travel lots and see bad restrooms. Stop at the gift store and see the Birds and cats. We were told that one of the cats is 2 YEARS OLD!

Was looking for a unique seafood place with crab legs and I definitely found it here!! We absolutely loved the atmosphere this place offered, along with the great service. I had one of their boils with shrimp and crab legs, and they were the freshest I have ever had! I do wish there had been just a tad bit more seasoning on them, but the freshness of the seafood couldn’t be beat. I loved getting to feed the alligators and partake in that unique experience after our meal as well. When we arrived, there was quite a line and a few people in front of us had a wait time of an hour. I do believe this was for outside seating. However, my husband and I opted for inside seating to avoid the wait and we got seated immediately. I do hope to be back soon and try out the outdoor seating, it looked like such a vibe and awesome atmosphere!

We visited on the recommendation of the owners of our accommodation. The seafood was fresh and tasty. We sat inside but it was still sticky and warm to eat. We’re probably not used to the temperatures, so I was a shame as the food was good otherwise. We enjoyed going and feeding the crocodiles after our meal.

This is a really unique place with a cool vibe. There are several bars, a little alligator pond, and a slightly weird bird room and a large community of cats that they feed and care for. There is lots to do and the kids loved it. We chose to sit outside as it was covered and there was a nice breeze and lots of fans. However, the flies and gnats were biting a few of us and they were all over our food and drinks to the point where it was really gross. We even went to the car to get bug spray part way through. I would highly recommend eating inside. I also felt the menu was pretty limited. If you don’t like pork or seafood, I would go elsewhere. They could really use some good appetizer options or some true southern food. Shrimp/grits, biscuits/cornbread, also adding French fries and onion rings would be a nice addition. The sandwiches also don’t include a side which was odd. Overall the food was ok, but nothing I would go back for. The service however was great and there was a ton of seating. We went at 5:15 on a Friday and had no problem getting seating for 13. It was a neat experience but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.
