We visited The Crab House for the first time today for lunch, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. We ordered the Hot and Spicy Chicken and the Triple Delight, and both dishes were excellent. The spicy chicken was especially impressive—perfectly cooked, tender on the inside, crispy on the outside, and full of flavor.
We also tried the seafood soup, which was a highlight for any seafood lover. The broth was rich and satisfying, and best of all, it was made without MSG, which made it even more enjoyable.
The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Wu, were incredibly friendly. They took the time to introduce themselves and share the history and background of the restaurant, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Even better, they revealed a little secret: they can prepare many dishes not listed on the menu, customized to your request. That kind of flexibility is rare and shows how much pride they take in their cooking.
I would definitely recommend The Crab House to anyone who loves seafood or enjoys traditional, authentic Chinese cuisine. It’s a place worth visiting—and returning to.

Came for lunch. Sort of a hidden gem. Not many people. The food was good. The crab roll was a touch spicy, for me. lol My sister enjoyed hers. Large bar for the smallish restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic. Clean, bright, and nice seaphere. (new word)
Service was 6-7 out of ten. One server should of had 2.
OMG the Raspberry cheese cake is fried. OMG It is a must have! The Key lime was good.

Incredibly kind staff! Our server was very accomodating with our friends allergies and gave us a lot of options to swap different things in the boils. Finding good seafood in Colorado can be difficult, but this is a very worthwhile spot to visit!

I must have driven past The Crab House in Bloomfield so many times, never realizing they serve incredibly authentic Chinese dishes alongside their seafood boils. We discovered it through my sister-in-law, who heard about it from her Chinese social group—and we’re so glad we gave it a try as a family.
The restaurant is bright, cheerful, and very clean – no fishy smell at all, which was a pleasant surprise for a seafood place. The owner is also the head chef, and his lovely wife Jian took care of us during our meal. She warmly recommended several signature dishes, and we honestly wanted to try them all! She even kindly stopped us from over-ordering, noting that the portions were generous – and she was absolutely right.
My absolute favorite was the Triple Delight. The flavors brought me right back to my hometown of Shanghai. The broth was rich and comforting with so many layers of flavors, and the house-made meatballs were tender and delicious!

I’ve been here a few times and am so confused as to why it’s so empty!!! Maybe location, because it’s not the food, staff or atmosphere. We do our yearly Christmas office party here and every time it’s absolutely amazing. The staff are also so kind and sweet. At the end when we were leaving, they offered to even take a picture for us and then one of the staff ran back and came out with a crab costume on and posed with us. One of the BEST restaurants EVER

Pretty pricey place, but worth taking the wife. I got the squid, mussels, clams, crab and shrimp. I ordered the sauce in hot and it didn’t not disappoint. Oh and don’t be shy put the bib on it’ll save your white shirt. It’s like eating cave man style.

Food is delicious, everything tasted fresh the boil was amazing. The crab cakes are filled with crab and no filler. calamari was crispy and had great flavor. Service was amazing our server iian was so kind and attentive.

Went to eat there and placed our order. The waitress brought out my order but not my sons. We waited 30 min for his order and the waitress said they were busy. I told her if we didn’t get the order in 5 more minutes we we leaving. After another 10 min. We got up to leave. I told the cashier we did not get one order. She ran to the back and tried then to bring it out as a to go order. I said, no, we came to dine together. She was upset. Oh well. Get your kitchen staff more organized to get orders out together. Won’t be back.

Came in for a boil with my step daughter. I got shrimp with extra hot sauce and she had snow crab with mild sauce. Both were delicious. Our server fussed over us like we were royals. Definitely recommend.

I love cornmeal catfish and I’ve lost the lost Cajun and golden corral randomly does it. This place has good food. I also like their shrimp basket. It’s definitely a deal saying we are in Colorado. I highly recommend this place, they are transparent and I called in to ask questions. They have my devotion. Kudos.
