101 years and counting! My parents used to come here 40 years ago! So it was great I was finally able to get to Salina to visit the place with my parents! No cheese on these sliders! Love the hole in the wall atmosphere. Feels super family oriented. Only seats inside are right when you enter. They have a cool walk up window on the north side. Have picnic tables to enjoy the weather and eat outside along the sidewalk. We got the 4 and 6 slider combos. 4 is a good amount, unless you’re bigger or super hungry and then you can get the 6 slider combo. It’s hard to find old businesses open now a days, so keep them going by giving them a chance!

Very good burger slider that only comes with onions, ketchup, mustard or pickles, no cheese.. Great flavor and not exactly like White Castle or Krystal! You’ll be surprised by the flavor! Very quick and friendly service in the restaurant or at the window! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that the burgers weren’t wrapped in anything before being placed in the bag. Maybe lining the bag with a sheet of paper lining before placing the bag in would be nice, but I understand with the need to be green. I would have loved to have saved the bag for a souvenir, but it was greasy. Other than that, everything else was great! Limited indoor seating at counter with several tables outside for customers.

Absolutely loved the inside of this place and the food they’re putting out. So much history in the tiny space. 101 years in the same location. Highly recommend sitting down inside and eating and having some talk with the workers and just admire and examine everything going on. Wish I could find more places like this. Will be back!!!

I drove 2.5 Hours away and arrived on a Saturday just when Steve the Owner opened. He’s super friendly, and tells you about the history of Cozy Inn. Great service. If you ever stop in Salina, definitely stop and eat here. It was a wonderful experience and the Burgers are cooked fresh right in front of you since 1922. On a Holiday weekend Cozy Inn can sell 2,500-3,500 sliders a day.

This place is great which would explain why they’ve been in business 101 years. The guy working there was excited about his job, and could answer every question we asked. From the history of the place, to the supplier of meat, to the quantity of onions used per week, he knew it all, and was excited to share. The burgers, the price, and the atmosphere was also great. If your passing through Salina, I would recommend stopping here. 6 burgers is about right for a hungry guy.

While visiting our cousin in Kansas, she took us to The Cozy Inn. It’s a cute little vintage place that serves the most amazing sliders. If you like onions , you will love this place. The sitting inside is only stools at the counter, which gave us a great view of them making the sliders. All are made on a little flat top with a prep station off to the left, and they make I’m fast and very efficient, just like an assembly line. The staff were very friendly and told us the history of the place. We left smelling of onions and burgers but it was so worth it.

The sliders were delicious and juicy! We love onions so we were very happy they used them in their cooking. There is very little indoor seating (I think only 5 seats at the bar) but the 3 outdoor tables have shade umbrellas and were clean and well kept. We parked and walked over to order using the little outdoor window. Their drinks were canned sodas and little bags of chips. I would definitely visit again.

I’ve been shamelessly driving by this on cross-country treks for quite some time. I finally took the plunge and my only regret was not doing it sooner. Simply, burger joints like this don’t exist anymore or (at the very least), are an extremely rare commodity. The sliders were excellent and the entire work staff were as well. Truly a gem.

Love a Cozy Burger! If you have never been, you may want to give them a whirl. Though I would caution, take ziplock bags with you if getting carryout. If not, your vehicle will have the Cozy aroma for a while after. It’s all good!
